•Chapter 38- The Time Between June and December

Karma's POV
"This test of courage is so stupid!" Nakamura sighed. "It's Koro Sensei, what do you expect?" I ran ahead.

Y/n ended up staying back at the resort and I ended up getting paired with Nakamura. "I wish Y/n~chan was here... But even then, I doubt Koro Sensei would pair me up with her..." Nakamura pouted. "Well obviously, Y/n would be partners with me." I rolled my eyes. "I like to think of this as a love triangle~"

I frowned at her, "You realized you liked her a bit too late, Nakamura~chan." She giggled, "Yeah~ Guess I did. If Y/n~chan's happy though, I'm happy too. But... You absolutely can't do anything to her!" Nakamura sternly said. "Can't promise that~ But... After all that happened last night, Y/n needs to be taking it easy." But why did she never tell me? I would never think of her as a monster.

"You can be kind sometimes I guess... Did she end up remembering anything?" Nakamura asked. "No, she didn't. But I feel like we should tell her. I don't think it'd be fair if we kept it from her." I replied. "What if the shock's too much for her again?" Nakamura questioned. "All we'd say is that her dad passed, we won't say anything about how, but if she does ask, we'll make something up."

I let out a yawn. "You should've stayed at the resort and slept! You stayed up all night waiting for Y/n~chan to wake up." Nakamura lightly scolded. "You stayed up pretty late too, Nakamura~chan." I grinned. "I didn't stay up too late... But I am kinda tired. You're acting pretty energetic, maybe I should've visited Y/n~chan before leaving! Darn." Nakamura snapped her fingers.

"I actually wanted to cuddle sith Y/n when I saw her, she was still a bit sleepy..." I smiled at the memory of Y/n's sleepy face. "Unfair! You get to see Y/n~chan's cute sleeping face everyday!" Nakamura pouted. "Knowing how much of a stalker you are, hearing you say that is surprising." I teased.

"Take a picture or her when she's sleeping pleaseee!! I won't set it as any of my wallpapers! I promise!!" Nakamura begged. "Nope~" I grinned and ran towards the exit. "Get back here!! You will give me a picture!" She shouted.

Your POV
A video appeared on my desktop with the same title as the flash drive. I clicked on the video and pressed play.

The words July 27th appeared on the screen and soon disappeared.

There were doctors gathered around a hospital bed muttering things and taking notes. Their words were incoherent. A short while later they dispersed and left the room. On the hospital bed was... Me? It was me when I was little from what I could tell... That's definitely me, but why am I in a hospital? Wait! Is that what June to December means the six months I was out... That has to be it.

The door opened back up and in came a nurse with a cart with a glass of foggy looking water. The nurse put the glass to the h/c haired girl's lips, but she snatched the glass from the nurse and shattered it by crushing it. The nurse widened her eyes. She rushed to a cabinet, pulled out a first-aid kit, and fished out a pair of tweezers and a small packet, it looked like those things that have a cotton pad drenched in rubbing alcohol.

The nurse came back to Y/n who didn't have any shards of glass in her hand or any sign of blood. The nurse furrowed her eyebrows.

"I won't drink that! It makes me feel worse! I want to get better so I can see Karma~kun!" Y/n cried. "Miss L/n, that medicine will strengthen your brain so you don't have to end up in the hospital again!" The nurse spoke in English which surprised me quite a bit. "My memories are slipping from me! You're just lying! I'm gonna tell papa and mama! They'll get you in lots of trouble! You've been taking care of me for nearly two months Miss May, why can't you understand?!"
