Your POV
"What if Koro Sensei chooses something cliche!" I exclaimed. It was currently lunch time with the drama festival only getting nearer! I was sitting with Kaede, Rio, Karma, and Nagisa.
"Like 'Romeo and Juliet'? I think I know who should play the star crossed lovers~" Kaede giggled, nudging my shoulder. "I'd rather not die, thank you." Karma nodded at my response.
"This must be pretty sad for you though, Y/n. You won't be deciding everything unlike previous years." Karma snickered. "You're so mean! It's true I'm not the drama club president, but I'm sure my vice made a great president! I look forward to what he has planned." This slightly irritated Karma.
"Don't even mention 'your vice'. Besides, you're better than him! We'll put the drama club to shame!" I could hear the jealousy in Karma's voice. "Aww, someone's jealous~ I was only friends with Futoshi~kun." I laughed and Karma shot a glare at me. "I am not jealous. It's just that he didn't want to be just friends with you. I think he had and still has ulterior motives." Totally jealous!
"He isn't that kind of person! If he was, I wouldn't have selected him to be my vice." Rio loudly cleared her throat.
"It's obvious Y/n~chan's gonna be the star, so something cute would be appropriate." Please no! "The play will be more likeable too. Perfect~" Karma smirked.
"L/n~chan's gonna be presenting herself in front of the whole school, so she should be presentable." Nagisa interjected. "Exactly! And get this in your head you two. The entire school will be watching."
"Maybe Y/n should be back stage..." I dropped my jaw, "No way! This is the last drama festival for all of us at this school and I'm onstage!" The first years and second years are gonna remember my name!
"Who knows who might be watching! What if professionals watch? I can only imagine being approached and boom! You're in your dream arts high school!" Kaede exclaimed. "I wish... I would die if that happened!" But there's no way that could happen...
"If we made something original, I think that might get attention from professionals." Kaede glanced at me with a smile. "Our school is a pretty big deal, we'll have to tell Koro Sensei." Nagisa added. I'm even more excited~!
It was a day after and the play's script was already done! "Now, all that needs to be decided is who's who." Koro Sensei stated. "I actually have a suggestion for the roles." Everyone's attention went to Kaede as she began to give her idea.
After she finished talking, everyone agreed that her cast of characters was perfect. "Thank you for thinking of this, Kayano~san. Now, let's take an hour of class time each day to practice! I'll give an extra half an hour today and the day before the play to practice. Remember to practice at home too. Get practicing minna!" Koro Sensei directed.
"First of all, you need your dress, hime~" Kaede immediately approached me bringing Hara along with her. "Wouldn't any dress in my closet work?" I queried. "I'll have to see what's in your closet Y/n~chan." Kaede said.
"Dresses pretty much don't exist in her closet." I whipped my head around to look at Karma. "Why are you looking in my closet, huh?!" I interrogated. "Your closet?" Oh you do not bring this up! I'mma cut a bitch!
"By the generosity of you and your parents, I have a room to keep my stuff in! And when I want nothing to do with you because you drive me insane seventy percent of the time!" I retorted.
"Anyways!" Kaede interjected. "If you don't have many dresses, I would love to make you one L/n~san!" Hara offered. "If I'm so dress poor as Karma says I am-" I shot Karma a glare and he gave an 'innocent' smile back. "-I'll take you up on that offer, Hara~san." She went over to her desk and came back with a measuring tape, pencil and paper and her eyes shining.
"I'll have to get your measurements first." I stood up and Hara took my measurements. "I'll work on your dress- dresses actually- as soon as I get home!" And with that, she went back to her desk.
"You've read over it at least once, right?" Kaede asked. Karma and I both nodded. "After me it starts off with you two. Since everyone's all together, we should practice as a class!" Kaede dragged both of us out of our seats to the front of the room.
Kaede got everyone to quiet down and told everyone that we should practice as a class. Everyone agreed.
Kaede: Princess Y/n, a young girl approaching the traditional age of marriage, 16. She's a graceful, beautiful young maiden with suitors from across the land. But the princess has taken interest to none. One day she has an interesting encounter with a boy from her kingdom just outside her castle.
I was surprised Kaede wanted to be narrator, I felt like she would've made for an amazing actor.
Y/n: Hello. Are you here to-
I bursted out laughing mid sentence. "That isn't apart of the script, princess." Karma teased. "Shut up commoner." I growled. "I haven't seen you mess up like this since the third year of primary school." I rolled my eyes and took a deep breathe.
I've done this at least twenty times before! Get your act together Y/n!
"How was your day you two?" I kicked my shoes off and plopped onto the couch. "Y/n would be eager to tell you mom." Karma snickered. I took a pillow and chucked it at him. "I messed up once okay! You're no professional you know! In fact, you were monotone almost the entire rehearsal!" I shouted.
"What happened?" Karma's mom asked. "The drama festival is coming up and we got the script for that today so we practiced." I answered. "You really love acting, don't you, Y/n~chan? I remember in previous drama festivals you would be the lead roll." She recalled. "Heh.. It's nothing special." I said bashfully.
"Of course it's special Y/n~ That's why our class's performance is gonna be better than all the other ones." I narrowed my eyes at Karma. "Earlier you were tormenting me about me messing up. I have the entire class as witnesses and your mom!" I pointed at him accusingly. "Tormenting? I was lightly teasing!" Karma protested.
"Robot!" I shouted. Karma took the pillow I threw at him and threw it at me, I caught it. "Ditz!" He retaliated. "Is that the best you got, commoner!" I taunted. "It turns out you really are a princess- of cats Y/n~neko!"
"At least I'm not an egoistic commoner- Oh wait, you've always been one even without the play!" I laughed. Karma lowered his head making his hair fall over his eyes.
"1... 2..." I started running. "THREE!" Karma shouted and started chasing me. "Eeeepp!!!" I screeched as F/cn was right in front of me and as I tried to come to a stop, I was falling down. F/cn moved out of the way and I fell down. Karma had pinned me down leaving me no place to go. "I'm not taking anything back!" Karma was clearly not pleased with this.
"Are you sure about that?" He pulled my arm back. "You're gonna dislocate it..!" I whimpered. "Karma! Let Y/n~chan go!" Karma's mom exclaimed. I lifted a leg up and moved it up between Karma's legs...
"Oh hell no Y/n." He got off of me and I smirked. "Defend better~" He glared at me and I stuck my tongue out. "I'll be looking forward to your payback~"
