Fourth of July

Today was Fourth of July personally your favorite celebration you were fascinated with fireworks and of course you loved mommas cooking especially after going without it for so long while living in Korea with your husband jaebum but this year you guys were going back to y/h/t to spend to time with your family and for them to meet the reason why you went to Korea and didn't come back. You and jaebum had landed in y/h/t earlier in the day and were at a firecracker stand buying fireworks. Jaebum wasn't familiar with the fireworks but he knew about the holiday just never celebrated it himself so you couldn't wait to to expose him to the dangers of fireworks. After finishing up buying what you wanted you guys headed to your childhood home. When you guys arrived the house was covered in people and American flag decorations. You looked over at jaebum and seen he was nervous.

"Baby don't be nervous your cute and sweet they'll love you"you said

He nodded but the worry was still in his eyes. You guys got out the car linking hands walking inside the house where you were quickly grabbed

"Ohhh my baby I've missed you in never letting you leave again"a voice you recognized and your mother said in your ear
"Well I don't know about that i am married"you said
"I'm still angry about that I wanted to to see my daughter walk down the isle"she pouted
"I'm sorry momma I should have thought about y'all more"you apologized
"It's fine baby now where's that husband of yours"she asked

You turned around and seen jaebum had disappeared. Panic set in when you see him surrounded by your brothers. You quickly walked over ready to save your boyfriend from being terrorized from your family but as you got closer you seen jaebum laughing. He looked at you with a wide smile as you grabbed his hand.

"Babe guess who just found out about your dirty secrets"he taunted
"Really guys can you guys ever keep secrets"you said rolling your eyes at your brothers and family before turning back to jaebum"my mom wants to meet you"you said dragging him to your mom

"Mom this is my husband jaebum, jaebum this is my mom"you introduced them
"Nice to meet you ma'am"he said politely
"Awww your so polite but call me mom"she said pulling him into one of her mom hugs

You Smiled at the moment and decided to go make conversation with everyone you haven't seen in so long. At the end of the night jaebum was introduced to new foods he was definitely in love with and was officially terrified of fireworks. Now you guys Layed together in your childhood room cuddling.

"So how was today for you"you asked him
"Different but I liked it I definitely wanna come back next year can we"he asked
"Yes baby of course"you laughed kissing him

You guys passionately kissed for a good minute before you guys pulled away.

"I'm glad I found you"he said
"Not as glad as I am"you responded
