2 - Seventy, maybe?
----- ----- -----
I'm bored.

So. Very. Bored.

"Mom! I'm bored," I yell at my mom, who's cooking dinner in the kitchen.

"You can cut onions for me, or clean up the basement, or -- "

"Uh, never mind, I have important stuff to do," I say quickly, getting up from my seat. I run upstairs to my room.

When I get to my room, I put my hands on my hips and sigh.

Why am I here again?

Oh, right. I have to find something to do.

I flip my laptop open and google, "Things to do when you're bored."

A bunch of links appeared in the screen, including a video.

I click on the video, since I think articles are boring, and put on my earphones.

While waiting for the video to load, I look at the other YouTube videos in the side and scroll down.

Wait. That's it!

Watching YouTube videos. I can do that to pass the time.

I pause the video and hover the arrow over the search button.

But what would I watch? I have no idea.

I decide I should just type some random words on the search button and see if I find something I like.

I look around. My phone is lying on my desk.

I type "phone."

I scroll down the results. Okay, nothing seems interesting.

I glance at my desk. Sketchbook, I think.  Hmm.

Sketch.

I type the word "sketch," not expecting what's going to happen next.

Oh heck.

The thumbnail. The person in the thumbnail.

He's familiar. Very familiar. So familiar that even though I haven't met him for a long time in real life, and even if I don't see much pictures of him as a nineteen-year-old on his private Twitter (which I still stalk), the face is creepily familiar.

I click on the first video that showed up and look who's on the screen.

Elijah.

Elijah Peter Best.

The guy I talk about in my daydreams.

The guy I stalk on Twitter.

The guy who I think about day and night.

Yup, I think, though I can hardly believe it.

It's really Elijah. I'd see that face anywhere.

My Elijah.

I grab my phone and speed-dial Kayleigh.

"Hey, what's up?" she asks. "It's not Friday, you know."

"I know," I reply.

"So what is it? Please don't tell me that that is an excuse for a daydream you just thought of. Remember last March?"

"Shut up and let me talk!" I snap impatiently. "He has a YouTube channel with half a million subscribers!"

"Uhh...what?"
