"Oh. My. Gosh," I say as the doctor hands me the baby. "It's so cute!"
"Is it a girl? Or a boy?"
"It's a girl," the doctor says. "The other ones are boys."
"What should we name the girl?" I ask Ethan.
He shrugs. "Sir Meows A Lot."
"It's a dog, Eth. Not a cat," I say.
"That's it," he says. "Name her Eth."
I light up. "Yes! That would be nice."
"I was sarcastic, you know."
I roll my eyes. Ethan and I returned to our normal friendship. Well, not really, we're now dating.
"Maybe if you get a kid, you can name her or him Eth," he suggests.
I laugh then glare at him.
"I'm nineteen, so shut up."
