"What is he doing?" Yucca whispered about Grain, who was just kind of sitting there with a blank stare.
"I asked him to share memories with Sirroco," Gulf explained, "crabs can share memories with the dead, and I know why a dragon would be so hate-filled to start an organization lile this."
"Woah, really?" Yucca said quietly, her voice still shaking under the burden of just having magically killed Sirocco.
"Yeah," Gulf explained to her girlfriend, "after someone dies, their memories go to the ocean, and as long as a crab has at least a drop of ocean water flowing through their gills, they can access them."
"Cool." Yucca breathed.
Grain shook his eyeballs off after he was finished with the memories.
"Did it work?" Gulf asked.
"Um, yeah," Grain chirped, "but there's something I've found, and you're not gonna like it."
