Getting Caught

Sting's POV

I woke up to see that (Y/N) wasn't on the couch.

My eyes widened, 'what if she got stolen?'

Immediately I got up and saw a note.

Dear Sting and Rogue,

I'm going to solving some mysteries! Who knows where they'll take me...so I'm writing this in case the worse happens.

First, I'll be looking for Levy. Next, Rufus and finally the library. If I'm not back in a week, you may come looking for me.

I like you guys a lot, so stay safe! Ok? I'll be fine, don't worry about me. I'm an S class mage!

You guys are awesome! Stay that way...!

"SHE CAN'T LEAVE!"

Rogue ran into the room.

"What's wrong?"

I showed him the note.

"WHAT?"

"WE NEED TO FIND HER!"

We rushed out the door and to Fairytail.

(Y/N)'s POV

"Thanks Levy!"

"No problem...hopefully it helps!"

"It will."

She told me of an old legend about dragons she had read. The tails and ears were easy fix she said, all I had to do is use my dragon slayer formation magic to make them disappear. This way also made it so that I could have them whenever I wanted.

"Water Dragon Formation: Human!"

The ears and tail disappeared! I was back to normal.

"Hooray!"
"Nice!" Umi exclaimed.

"Now to go find out about this Dragon's Tale."

"Levy had said that the book was all about dragons, the library probably has a copy of it."

"Aye!"

We headed towards the library.

"Welcome!"

"Thank you" I smiled, but the desk lady was staring at me.

"No pets inside the building, mamn."
"Umi isn't a pet, she's an exceed."

"I don't care, no pets."

I whispered to Umi, "Can you do that transformation thing Carla does?"

"I can try."

"Transformation: Human"

"She's not a pet anymore, we're coming in."

The lady just stood with her mouth wide open.

"Now, Umi by chance could you help me find the book?"

"Aye!"

Wings grew out from her human form and she searched the almost endless hallways.

I thought of what the book might smell like, probably like my diary. So I searched for that smell.

The book...I had finally found it.

I reached up to grab it, but it shocked my hand. Trying and trying, I wanted to get it. However, the shocks were getting worse. Maybe it had some sort of lock on it, the desk lady probably knows.

So I started to walk, but hit an invisible barrier.

"Ow..."

The script appeared.

'Good thing Kaiyo taught me how to read this.'

"Only non-dragon slayers may enter and exit this barrier"

"OH THAT'S CHEAP! YOU HATING ON ME BECAUSE I'M A DRAGON SLAYER!"

I punched the barrier, but it didn't budge.

"IF THIS IS YOUR DOING ZEREF- I HATE YOU!"

No one spoke.

I continued to read the rest of the script.

"This is soundproof."

Sighing, I thought...'Magic Proof too?'

"WATER DRAGON ROAR!"

It came back and hit me, which didn't do anything since the water was my own.

"Hmmm...tricky."

"Whoever this is, they are skilled in script magic..."

I giggled and did a Gajeel grin.

"But us Fairytail members always find a way out of things."

"Water Dragon Transformation: Ocean."

The barrier let me through.

Since, I was no longer in my human form, it didn't sense I was a dragon slayer. I was now water, which couldn't hold dragon slaying magic properties. 

"Haha!"

Transforming out of the water, I smiled and continued to walk.

 Until I hit another barrier.

"COME ON!"
The script read: "You are wise, but not enough. This barrier is meant to keep only (Y/N) Fullbuster in."

"THAT'S DIRT CHEAP!"
"Hehehehehe...."

This thing thought it was smarter than me!

"Elemental Dragon: Dragon Call"

No sound would be heard to anyone, but dragons and dragon slayers.

Now it was time to just wait and hope someone could save me.

Meanwhile, I would try to get out.

"WATER DRAGON ROAR!"

Nothing.

"ICE DRAGON WING ATTACK!!"

Nothing,

"Stupid Barrier...."

"Some is hunting me, but- I'm not sure who it is."

I looked around, it was just the library.

"(Y/N)!!"

"Sting! Natsu! Rogue! Wendy!"

"Hey!"

They all walked up to my barrier.

"I got trapped," I said, giggling.

"We'll need Freed to disenchant the script. Hold on!"

"Thanks guys...is Umi ok?"

"Haven't seen her..." Sting said.

"Hopefully she's ok...."

Freed finally arrived with Laxus.

"Wow, why'd you get stuck in there?"

"I DIDN'T TRY TO LAXUS~SENSEI!"

Everyone laughed.

"This is easy!"

With a 'swoosh' of his hand, the barrier was gone.

"Thanks Freed!"

"And thank you all for coming!"

Now, where was Umi?
