Chapter 6

Daehwi's POV

It was 6AM. I decided to go to school early. After packing up my snacks and lunch, I went out of the apartment. I saw a car infront of my house. After a few seconds, a familiar figure went out of the car.

"J-jinyoung?" I stuttered. What the hell Dae! Why do you always stutter!?

"Hey!" he has his angry face on.

I got a bit nervous since I don't know if I did something wrong.

"W-why?" I asked

"You didn't text me! I told you to text me, right?" he pouted

"I'm sorry. I got tired last night so I went straight to bed. I thought you told me to text you when I'm in school." I defended my self

He was just silent with his pout on.

I grabbed my phone and texted him "Good morning :)"

He looked at his phone and I saw a smile on his face. He then forcely removed his smile after that.

"Why are you here?" I asked

"I told you to text me so that I could fetch you. I woke up at 4AM waiting for you to text me. That's why I'm upset." He said

"I didn't know you're this childish Jinyoung" I laughed at him

"I'm not normally like this. I'm just like this for you." He looked shocked with what he said.

"W-what?" I asked

"Nothing! Let's go. We might be late" he awkwardly said

"Uhmmm Jinyoung, It's like 6AM and it's just a 20 mins walk from here to school. You have a car, it surely would be faster."

"I uhh. I...Uhmmmm... I just want to go to school early." He said

"You can go ahead first if you want to" I said

"NO!" he shouted then looked a bit shocked again with what he just did.

"Fine! Let's go! I'm just kidding you! You can calm yourself now."

I entered the car then he started driving. After a few second he stopped and moved his body infront of me. Our face was just a few centimeters away. I was shocked with what he did. I closed my eyes. He was like that for about 5 seconds. After I felt him moving away, I opened my eyes.

"Make sure you wear your seatbelt next time, okay?"

"Oh! O-okay! I'm sorry" I apologized

We were already near the campus but he turned the other way.

"Jinyoung, you turned the wrong way. We just passed by our school."

"We'll eat breakfast first. I already told you that I've been waiting since 4AM right?

"I'm sorry for that. Please don't do that again. I can manage to go to school though."

"I like doing it though!"

We stopped by a fast food chain.

"What do you want?" he asked

"It's okay! I'm not hungry. You can order by yourself." I told him. I was really hungry but then I didn't bring my walet with me since I packed some snacks and lunch a while ago.

"Liar! I heard your stomach grumble a while ago." He said

"Well... I didn't bring my wallet. Since I packed my snacks and lunch. I can't afford the food in the cafeteria." I told him

"It's my treat don't worry. I was the one who brought you here."

"No! You don't need to." I said

"I'll be sad if you won't accept my offer."

"Fine! Just get me a coffee. I'll go find a seat for us"

I walked away and looked for an available seat. I saw a seat near the counter. I sat donw and waved at Jinyoung for him to know that I was there. He then waved back with a smile.

While he's on lining up to order, he kept on making faces at me and I'll start laughing. We looked too stupid but he kept on doing it.

After a while, I saw someone familiar coming inside the fast food chain.

"Hyeongseob-ie!?" I said a bit louder

"Daehwi!!!" he ran to where I am then hugged me

"Waaah! I missed you! How are you?" I asked him

"I missed you too. Well, I am back here now. My mom and dad are done with their business in China, so we're back. I couldn't find your facebook or other SNS so I couldn't inform you that I'll be coming back." He said

"Good for you! We have a lot of things to catch up." I told him

"Oh! By the way, this is Woong." He introduced me to his friend. I didn't notice that he was with somebody.

"Hi! I'm Lee Euiwoong, his boyfr-" Hyeongseob stopped what Euiwoong was saying

"Lee Daehwi! Nice to meet you!" I smiled

Jinyoung went to my table with a not so happy face. I totally forgot that he was ordering food for us.

"Oh! This is Jinyoung, by the way." I told them

"Woah! You're friends with "THE" Bae Jinyoung?" Euiwoong was amazed with what he saw

"Hello!" he said and bowed.

Jinyoung just nodded. He was in a bad mood.

"We have to go now! Enjoy your breakfast lovebirds!" Hyeongseob said
"Yah! We're not!" I shouted at him

After Hyeongseob and his friend left. Jinyoung was not talking to me.

"Hey! Is there a problem?"

He just ignored me.

"Are you okay?"

"No!" he said

"Why? What happened? I asked

"Who is he?" He asked

"The one who just left?"

"Yeah! The one you just hugged with a smile reaching your ear" he blunted

"He's my childhood friend.The other one I think is his boyfriend. Why are you upset about it?" I asked him a saw his frown faded after that

"You literally forgot about me when you saw him. That's why!"

"I'm sorry for that. I'll make it up to you. Can I have my coffee now?"

He gave me my coffee and some pancakes.

"I told you I jus want coffee!" I said

"You won't be full with just coffee in your stomach!" he said

"Thank you Jinyoung...." I said. I looked at him and he smiled

"...for everything" I added

"No problem! I like to do this tho. It seems fun."

"Let's eat!" I told him

"So you're "THE Bae Jinyoung, huh?" I teased him

"Yah! Stop it!" he just smiled

"Didn't know that I have a famous friend" we laughed together

While eating we shared stories, made fun of the persons around just and talls funny and corny jokes.

6:45AM – We decided to go to school.

We went out of the car. Everyone was staring at us. I felt a bit nervous bacause their stares are not good. I made me feel uncomfortable.

Jinyoung placed my arms clinging on his arm. He puthis lips near my ear to whisper something.

"Don't mind them. I got you!" he whispered.

We walked together to our classroom. He asked the person beside him to changeseats and made me seat next to him. We waited for our teacher and started ourday in school.
