That story was about "Y/N" and her/his messed up mind. "Y/N" has never thought someone could ever truly love her/him so much.
"Y/N" has been stuck with the thought that basically anyone who's not a family member; that is showing signs of love and care for her/him, (like friendship, any relationship) are just complete lies.
So when Taehyung proposed, "Y/N" told him how she/he never believed that his love was true.
