"Why am I even here?" I asked myself as I downed the rest of my drink.
I quickly placed down the cup, making my way to the dance floor.
I squeezed through a few people, looking out into the crowd to see if anyone caught my eye.
My breath caught in my throat briefly as I locked eyes with a pair of bright green.
The girl looked away, making me snap out of my trance and begin to move towards her.
I was squeezing through the sweaty bodies as I felt someone turn me around, the girl making eye contact as she motioned for me to dance with her.
I shook my head at her, moving away to find the mystery girl I had made eye contact with.
When I spotted her it seemed almost as if time had frozen and the room cleared apart from the two of us.
She locked eyes with me again, beginning to move towards me as I stayed frozen in place.
She didn't say a word when she reached me, opting instead to grab my hand and tug me along with her farther into the crowd.
She eventually turned around, pushing her back against me and moving her hips to the beat of Say It by Tory Lanez.
I placed my hands on her waist gently, not wanting to overstep any boundaries, but she quickly realized how timid I was and moved my hands down to her ass.
She brought one of her arms up and tugged my head down to her neck. I kissed around the exposed skin as her hips continued to rotate against mine.
I felt the alcohol kicking in as she turned around in my arms and brought my head down to kiss her lips.
"I'm not usually this spontaneous, but do you wanna come to mine?" She asked when we separated from the heated kiss.
I nodded my head quickly and soon enough we were in an uber, feeling each other up and making out.
When we got to her apartment the girl quickly got out of the car.
"Here man," I said, handing the driver a five dollar tip. I felt a little bad for making out with a random girl in the guys back seat.
I hopped out of the car, quickly following after the mystery girl as we made our way to her apartment.
She was unlocking her door as I spun her around and kissed her hard, pushing her back against it.
"Inside now," she mumbled against my lips as she turned the door knob, and we stumbled inside.
"Hey, Lauren? You're back- WOAHH," someone said, making the girl, who I knew as Lauren, and I separate quickly.
"You're home?" Lauren asked as she grabbed my hand and tugged me behind her slightly.
"Yea, I got back a day early. John told me he could handle the rest of the convention," the tall blonde said with a smirk on her face. "And who is this?"
I knew Lauren wouldn't be able to answer her question so I stepped in.
"I'm Y/n," I told her, reaching out to shake the girl's hand.
She skeptically stepped forward, shaking my hand as she eyed the two of us.
"The girls are coming over in thirty minutes."
"Okay, Dinah," Lauren rolled her eyes. "We'll be in my room."
I waved to Dinah once more before Lauren dragged me off to her room.
"I'm so sorry. She wasn't supposed to be home until tomorrow," Lauren rambled as I smiled.
"Why are you smiling?"
"You're cute," I stated, making her blush.
"So... since we obviously aren't going to fuck, should we like, get to know each other?" Lauren asked, making me wonder why my comment made her blush when she was so straight forward.
"We can definitely do that, but right know how about we make up a story to tell your friends about how we met," I said, making her smile.
"Yea, that's a good idea, because I'd rather not say thirty minutes ago in a club," she laughed.
