For awhile they remained still, taking in what just happened. Despite how badly they all wanted to leave the room, it was too risky to make another wrong move, especially after Phoebe's threat. Avoiding eye contact, everyone stared at the ground awkwardly.

"Alright," Phoebe started unexpectedly, "Everyone huddle closer." They all stared at her, unsure if she should be trusted. She sighed and waved her finger to the beanbags. "Sit," she demanded to the others who weren't already seated. Her irritated tone was the type that would get anyone to comply to her orders, so it didn't take long before all seven of them were seated. They had formed a circle leaving Phoebe standing in the center. "You knew there would be serious consequences if you failed me," she said while staring at Colton and Riley, "so now we're going to have to fix this. Let's start off by figuring out what happened. How the hell did The Silvers find you?" She walked inside the circle until she reached Aiden who was right next to Violet.

Violet, being the nervous girl that she is, couldn't form the words to describe her journey. Luckily, Aiden took a shot at it first, explaining everything from the beginning. "We were searching for Scarlet in the alleyways and one of The Silvers' members happened to be there. Before we could escape, she figured out who we were and went after us. Colton and the others were far ahead but I was caught by some guards who pinned me down."

She shook her head with disappointment and faced Violet. "Now how did you end up with him?"

Gulping, Violet tried her best to speak. "Uh-Um, well I noticed Aiden was missing from our group so I turned to look for him but by then, Colton's van had already left."

Phoebe nodded for them to continue their story.

"The lady that took us said her name was Esther," Aiden continued. "We woke up in a strange building and Esther said she knew we were vampires because of Victor, who supposedly has been communicating with them. He also told her Violet was just human."

"Victor?" Phoebe looked worried. "Is he working with them?"

Em raised her hand like a student asking for permission to speak from the teacher, who in this case was Phoebe. Without waiting for approval though, she said, "From the time I was in Vegas, I learned that they made some sort of agreement. I think whatever it was, their only exception was Scarlet, meaning she was still their main target and Victor didn't or wasn't able to make her apart of their deal. My point is that as of right now, Victor's group is not in their best interests."

"Seventeen years of running, yet they finally manage to make a deal with those bastards. And to think it couldn't get any worse!" she exclaimed. "What else happened with Esther?"

"She got a sample of my blood and ran to alert the others when it wasn't black like the others," Aiden stated. "And thats when we escaped." He told everyone their experience exploring the buildings and finding Nicolas, who died after they crawled out of a tunnel in Los Angeles. Then, he went on about the taxi driver who worked for The Silvers and all the trouble it took to steal a BMW to get to where they were now.

"You guys stole a BMW?" Riley blurted before realizing Phoebe's glare.

"Interesting." Phoebe stepped out of the circle and began pacing around them instead. "Now we know one of their facilities is located in Los Angeles....but their objective has changed. Scarlet is the least of their worries now that they've discovered you guys. They probably already negotiated with Victor for information to find us."

Colton cut in abruptly. "They'll know we're hiding somewhere in Oregon." He paused to think. "In fact, they might be in the area right now."

Delsin murmured, "Oh no," and exchanged a concerned look with Em and Colette.
