"Actually, I'm sorry to say this but 8 month babies have less of a chance to live than 7 month babies," he explained as he looked at us.

"I'm sorry ma'am, there's not a great chance of your baby living,"

Hours later-Current time

Jack's POV

"Jack, no!" Danielle cried.

"Baby it's okay baby, we'll be okay," I tried not to cry but I couldn't as tears began streaming from my eyes.

Seeing Danielle like this broke me. Having to see the one you love, laid on a hospital bed isn't a good sight. And having to hear that our baby might not make it, it just broke me.

"Jack I'm so sorry, I'm worthless. I'm not even able to give you a child!" She sobbed.

"No baby, all I need is you," I tried calming her down.

"Ma'am you have to push!" The doctor yelled.

He ran out and finally brought Mr. Gonzales in.

Mr. Gonzales soon ran in, happy to be able to help us.

Danielle kept twisting and turning from pain.

"Jack I can't do this!" She cried.

"Yes you can, just look at me. Hold my hand and squeeze. I know that if someone can do it, it's you baby. I love you so much, let's bring our baby home," I kissed her.

She nodded her head and squeezed my hand as she began pushing.

Danielle's screams kept getting louder and her hold around my hand kept getting tighter.

"I see the head!" Mr Gonzales yelled.

"Come on baby, one more push,"

"Uh huh," Danielle huffed before she gave her final last push.

"Your baby's here!" Mr Gonzales said.

"You did it baby," I said as I kissed Danielle.

"Baby," I said as I lightly shook her.

"Danielle," I cried.

"Nurse!" I yelled.

"She needs help, she's not moving!" I cried.

"Sir you need to step outside!" The nurse yelled.

"What about my baby?!"

"He's in critical condition,"

"Ma'am did you say he!?"

She nodded her head as she smiled.

"You need to step outside!" Another nurse yelled as she lightly pushed me out. But I couldn't stop her, everything seemed to stop.
