Steve Mason Imagine

The team had to play their rivals the Pittsburgh Penguins today and he was just as nervous as he was excited. He had to start in the net and he was kind of freaking out about it.

“You’re going to do great, babe. There isn’t a doubt in my mind.” You told him before he left.

“Thanks, hun. I’ll see you after the game, ok?” he said giving you a quick kiss and picking up his bag.

“Alright. I’ll be watching. Good luck! I know you’ll do amazing!”

He smiled and walked out the door. You sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. You had a little while before the game started so you decided to read the rest of your book. You got comfortable and opened your book and before you knew it you were drifting off to sleep.

You were awoken by someone kissing you lightly on the forehead. You opened your eyes and say Steve sitting beside you on the couch.

“Hey, beautiful.” He said admiring you.

“Hi,” you said sleepily, “Oh my gosh, I missed the game! I slept right through it!” you sat up frantically.

Steve started laughing, “It’s alright, babe. Calm down, it’s not a big deal.” He said wrapping you in a hug.

“How did you guys do?”

“Shut them out. 4-0.” He said proudly.

“That’s so great, Steve! I’m so proud of you!” You say hugging him tighter and kissing him.

“Let’s go out and celebrate! Come on we can go to your favorite restaurant!” you said excitedly, standing up.

He laughs and starts to stand up. He grabs your hand and pulls you in for another kiss. “I love you. I love how supportive you are and how cute you get when you’re excited. I love everything about you and I can’t believe that you are mine.” He said holding you close.

“I love you too, Steve. I’m just as lucky to have you in my life. I’ve never met a more caring man.”

“Let’s go celebrate, yeah?” He said smiling as he walked you to the car.
