Beau Bennett Imagine

You were waiting at the luggage claim anxiously. Your eyes kept scanning the crown hoping to see that goofy grinned boy you’ve been missing for far too long. You lived in California and your boyfriend Beau lived in Pittsburgh. He hadn’t been home in almost a month and you missed him more than you could say. As your eyes scanned over the room one more time you finally saw that beautiful golden hair you’ve missed. Your mouth broke out into a large grin and you could barely move out of people’s ways fast enough as you made your way to him. You ran up to him and right before you jumped into his arms he saw you and his eyes lit up.

“Beau!” You screamed as he twirled around with you in his arms.

“I’ve missed you so much.” He says into your neck.

“You don’t even know.” You said into his ear.

You held onto him for a little while longer just hugging him before he put you down. His hands went straight to the sides of your face as he looked you in the eyes. He rested his forehead gently against yours. His thumb softly caressed your cheek as he smiled thoughtfully at you.

“You’re so beautiful. I think you got even more gorgeous since the last time I saw you.”

You rolled your eyes at his ridiculous comment, “Yeah well, I’ve missed those blue eyes. And that golden hair. And your goofy grin.” Beau laughed at you.

“And that laugh.” You said looking from his eyes down to his lips, Beau doing the same.

He slowly leaned in and kissed you softly for the first time in what seemed like years. You two stood there kissing for a good long while until you heard an elderly man whistle at you two and proclaim “you darned kids.” As he walked away smiling. The old man made you laugh and realize that you two were indeed in the middle of the airport.

“Let’s go home.” You said to him as you grabbed his hand and started pulling him towards the baggage claim to get his suitcase. You were so happy Beau was with you, even if it was just for a little bit.
