Alan's POV

I stood in the kitchen cutting up some vegetables to make some soup. I was annoyed as hell because Vic wouldn't get off my back about talking to Austin. I would get to it when I did and the more he spoke about it the more I wanted to slap him.

"Fuck!" I shouted when I sliced a bit of my finger.

"Al? You okay?"

"Yeah, just cut myself." I muttered and headed to the bathroom.

"Not on purpose right?"

"Really?"

"I'm just checking."

"I'm just checking." I mocked.

"Oh shut up. How about you go talk to Austin today?"

I rolled my eyes, "Please shut up about him."

"No."

I didn't reply and rummaged through the bathroom looking for our first aid kit.

"I'm just saying, you really need to talk to him."

Again I didn't answer and washed the blood from my hand. "This isn't as good as, as, as it used to be." I said and laughed a little.

"Shut up," he muttered, leaning against the door jamb.

"It's not."

"Good."

"I got myself good."

"Yeah, you did."

I laughed to myself a little, "Could have done worse. Now hand me a bandaid."

"Here," he said with a sigh and handed one to me.

I took it from his and wrapped it around my finger.

"So, are you going to talk to Austin now?"

"I'll go for godsakes!"

"Good."

I stormed out of the bathroom and left the apartment going to Austin's. I knocked on his door and waited for him to answer. I was so nervous. I knocked again on and finally he answered but he was in his boxers and that was it. His hair was all messy and damn.

"Can we talk?" I asked looking him up and down.

"Yeah, yeah, we can."

"Can I come, come, come in?"

"Oh uh yeah, come on in," he said and moved aside for me.

I walked in and looked at him awkwardly. "I wanna hear about you and, and, and I want know why you said what you said."

"Okay, uh, sit down," he said awkwardly.

I sat down and he took a seat besides me, "Go on."

"I was mad," he said.

"That doesn't excuse it."

"You overstepped by touching my stuff. I don't like when stuff is messed with and I was annoyed. I really didn't mean any of the harsh things I said. I really like you Alan and I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry I overstepped," I said softly.

"It's okay. I didn't mean to snap on you."

"I forgive you."

"Really?"

I nodded and tapped my knees rapidly. "Really."

"Oh my god, thank you," he said.
