Magic school: The competition begins

Mother I need to find.

I walked down the halls of the school.

   " sky!" I heard.

" hi matt." I said as I smiled at him.

  He gave me a warm smile before giving me a quick hug.

  " so what are you doing here? This is the hall of fame. What curiosity do you have? " he asked.

I chuckled.

   " um.. Well not curiosity because curiosity killed the cat but interested." I stated.

" is'nt that the same thing?" He asked.

I gave a simple shrug.

" maybe." I said as I continued to walk.

   I stopped in front of an old photo of the school.

  " is this MS high?" I asked.

  He looked at it.

  " its MS high paris, france. " he said.

" paris france?" I asked. He nodded.

" the top people.,top us. Our kind.  go there. Its the main school.and let me say alot bigger than this one." He said.

  " really like how much?" I asked.

  " probably two to three sizes than this school." He said.

" EH! Thats not big. Thats HUGE!" I said.

   He chuckled.

" of course." He said.

We stood there staring at the photo with silence for about a minute.

" hey matt. Is it your dream to go there?" I asked.

  He looked at me with a surprised face. Then nodded.

" ever since I learned about this I always wanted to go. Thats why I wanna be the top. Then after the competition I will be transfered. Truth is as long as i'm in the top ten i'll go to paris france and attend that school. " he said

  " then lets work hard." I said.

  He nodded.

" yes."

We shook hands and continued to walk.

   ",even better.for the person who wins the competition." He said.

" why?"

" no reason... Oh look its the school." He pointed to our regular school here. But old version.

   I nodded I kept looking.

" hey matt..... Remember the women we saw last time? The one you said looked like me." I said in a low voice.

  " you mean you looked like her" he corrected.

I simply answered with a nod.

   He looked away.

" Madeline Deschanel " he said.

  " madeline deschanel?" I repeated.

he nodded.

  " I think there's a section about her in the library. Not sure." He said.

  we heard the bells ring.

  " ah got to go to my club practice. See ya later, Skylar." He said.

  I simply nodded.

I went directly to the library. Unsure if they had it so I just asked the main desk.
