Chandler's POV:

"You ready kiddo?" My dad said as we were about to leave for my basketball game. I decided to join my team again. It was the first game since I joined back. Jasmine had been my girlfriend for a month now.

"Yeah is mom coming?" I said picking up my duffle bag. "Of course I am." She said running to the door wanting to go.

When we got there I saw Cody and Marcus. Jasmine and Frankie were going to but I didn't see them yet.

"Hey man how's it going?" Marcus said patting my back from the bleachers. "You know what I mean?" He smirks hinting at me and Jasmine. "Couldn't be better." I smirked back. "You're really lucky man," Cody said. "I know." I said seeing her arrive with Frankie from a distance.

I saw her push her long brown hair behind her as she stepped over the bleachers

I saw her push her long brown hair behind her as she stepped over the bleachers. "It's better than being friends." I said.

Although I valued our friendship we were meant for more than that

"You don't think this would mess anything up?" Cody said again. "No," I said shaking my head looking at her still. "Not what we have." They shrugged and then nodded in agreement.

"I'll see you guys later." I said and went to see Jasmine. She saw me right away and jumped-hugged me, wrapping her legs around my waist. She didn't even care that our parents were watching. Joan had just arrived.

"You know I'm like, you're biggest fan here right?" She smiled while putting her arms around me. "I know. I'm not playing for anyone else." I said holding her close to me. Her cotton candy smell was starting to become mine. People would say to me 'you smell like Jasmine'.

"Bull shit!" She laughed. "I don't know." I shrugged with a bit of a laugh.

Nikki and a few of other of Jasmine's friends and I talked a lot more now. In fact Nikki was here too. "Well I gotta go. I love you." I said really not wanting to let her go. "Okay, good luck I love you too." We kissed and she went back up to her seat.

The game was about to start. Frankie gave me a quick wink and a wave. I waved back with a smile and before I stepped onto the court, Jasmine held up a small sign that said Go best friend and I knew I was the luckiest guy in the world.
