Ventus X Reader X Vanitas

You ran towards Radiant Garden after hearing upcoming rumors of Terra, one of your best friends turning towards the darkness. You entered a room and saw Ventus talking worriedly  talking to Master Eraqus about something. 

" Have you heard?" you asked panting from how fast you ran to Ventus and Eraqus. " Yes Y/N.. I do believe he has gone crazy mad.. we need someone to find him and Aqua has other duties." He nodded at you. " Y/N I believe this is a job for you and only you." He starred at your eyes seriously. " Wait... no let me come with her its to dangerous!" Ventus yelled at the master. " I don't want you to be at risk either." I breathed sadly at Ven. 

We discussed my mission. I would try and find what was causing Terra to give into the darkness. Ventus had complained more and more as time went on. He kept stating that he was older and would be able to take everything more. He didn't want me hurt at all. 

I was almost able to summon my keyblade glider before Ventus grabbed my arm. "Are you sure about this?" the blonde asked me. I nodded sure that I wanted to help Terra as much as possible. I then took off without a goodbye knowing Ventus would only try and stop me as much as he could. 

----------------------- 5 days later

It had been a rough journey looking for Terra, but wherever you went a dark trail of destruction was left somehow and eventually it would lead you to Terra somehow you thought. You entered a world, but the darkness had consumed it so much it was hardly recognizable. You slashed through a group of heartless before encountering a throbbing pain on your leg. You let out a long scream before someone came to you. Terra, stood before you worried.

" Y/N, you need help now." he whispered before caring you to a safe place where the heartless couldn't reach you and then speeding off towards the land of departure to get help. Terra ran inside the building reaching his master, Xehanort, Ventus and Vanitas battling it out. 

" Master, Y/N is very hurt!" he yelled out of breath. Master Eraqus eyes widend now realizing how big of a task this was for you. As Terra spoke Ventus and Vanitas had both picked up and had worried expressions plastered on their faces. " Dammit, I knew she would get hurt." Vanitas cursed to himself. 

Ventus's face was full of sadness. Y/N was someone he loved, and he couldn't let her go not this time. " I've got to go and save her!" they both shouted at the same time. Scowls appeared on both of the boys faces. As they raced to the door, multiple shoves were thrown at each other. Both were determined to make you fall for them. 

They raced to the dark world in a hurry while Eraqus followed in a hurry with Terra. You sat in a high up tower the heartless racing towards you... someone would have to save you... who would it be.

IF YOU CHOSE VENTUS - 

You crouched down sitting on the ledge of a tower wondering how you could escape. It seemed nobody would make it in time before you felt yourself being lifted off the ground. You looked up to see Ventus, your crush saving you. You smiled slowly letting yourself fall unconscious in his arms knowing you would be safe.

You awoke 3 hours later with a killer pain in your knee. " Ouch." you squealed trying to walk before you heard the door open. Ventus walked in with a tray of your favorite tea. " Thank you so much Ven." you smiled at him. " Yeah, anything to keep you safe Y/N." he admitted slowly blushing. You then blushed back at him noticing how cute he was being. 

"Y/N I don't know what I would do without you." Ventus told you kissing your lips softly.

IF YOU CHOSE VANITAS 

You looked down at the tower noticing how close the heartless were getting to you. The question you asked yourself is if you should jump down. It was the only way of getting out of the tower alone. You jumped off the tower hoping for a soft landing but blacked out before you reached the ground. 

3 Hours Later

"Y/N...are you awake?" you heard a male voice ask you. "Mhmm." you nodded before you realized you were looking up at your long time crush, Vanitas. " Did I make it down the tower?" you asked him still sleepy. " I caught you before you fell." he added brushing the hair out of your face. You now had a clear view of Vanitas and blushed. " I'm just glad your safe." he whispered before placing his lips on yours. You now realizing that he would never leave your side.
