True Friends

I bit my lip and looked at the other table,

"I wish I had friends..."

"Just one..."

"At least one.. It doesn't to be two.."

"One is enough..."

The next thing I knew, all of them – all four of them – were looking at me with confusion in their eyes.

I blushed and immediately turned away.

Looking up through the window, I pretended that nothing happened.

"Hey, are you ok?"

I slowly turned around and saw a honey-blonde haired girl standing in front of me.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine." I replied finally, "Um.. Sorry for... Um..."

"Sorry for what?" Confusion was all you can hear from her lovely voice.

"For staring at you.." I looked down at the floor, trying to hide my blush.

"Oh, that's ok." She smiled.

"Really?" I asked, surprised that someone actually forgived me.

"Yep!" She enthusiastically said, "Oh, have you ate lunch yet?"

"Well, I'm about to at the cafe.." I quietly said.

"Why don't you come and eat lunch with us?" She suggested.

"W-what? No! No! I'll just be in the way..." I responded.

"No you won't be! Now come on, let's go!" She said as she grabbed my hand.

"No, really, it's ok, I'll eat lunch at the cafe, so you don't have to do this." I reassured her.

"Oh, come on! The more the merrier, right?"

"Y-yeah, I guess that's true..."

"Come one! Let's go!" She grabbed my hand and started to head over to the table they were sitting in.

"O-ok.."

"Are you sure I won't be in the way?" I asked for what seemed like the 10th time.

"No you won't be! Now come on, eat up!" the honey-blonde haired girl said.

"B-but-"

"It's alrig- Oh! We haven't introduced ourselves yet! I'm Serena by way."

"I'm Ash and this is my parter Pikachu!"

"I'm Clemont."

"My name's Bonnie, and this is Dedenne!"

They all introduced themselves on by one with a smile.

"I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you everyone." I greeted.

"Nice to meet you too (Y/N)!" Bonnie greeted back while the others smiled. I smiled back.

"Have I finally done it?"

"Have I finally...."

"Made true friends?"
