It's just short filler but it's something. I've been busy, sorry. Also this story probably won't be too long because I have something better in the works.

The next day, Max woke up alone. He panicked and began looking around frantically for the older boy. Ian was nowhere to be seen but once Max calmed down enough to think rationally, he found a note that Ian had left saying that he had to go to work and would be back later.

Max sighed with relief and got something to eat. After eating, he went on his phone to pass the time. There were multiple calls and texts from his parents but he ignored them all. Some of his old friends tried to contact him too but he wouldn't answer anyone.

Giving into temptation, Max checked some of the texts he had revived.

Mom: everyone is worried about you. Please call, we just want to know you're okay

He rolled his eyes and left the message on read.

Dad: where the hell are you?! You're in big trouble when you get home

Max sighed and closed his phone. He didn't want to go home but he knew he couldn't hide forever.
