Time skip
Arabella pranced along side Newt and I. She sang a small tune as we entered the train station. She stopped at a train door. Bella seemed timid for a moment. "Dad, I-I don't know if I'm ready yet." He smiled then crouched down to her level.
"Don't worry, love. Everyone is having the first day jitters as well." I grinned then I also crouched down.
"Here, take Pickett. He'll accompany you." He hugged her side and climbed onto her shoulder. Bella engulfed me in a hug. "I love you so much darling. Remember to write." I kissed the top of her head, and she tackled Newt in a hug as well. Bella hopped on the train and waved goodbye from a window. We waved back, and the train slowly eased up on the tracks. Newt turned to me and I turned to him.
"Seems like just yesterday we got on that train."

Ik ik it took me a long time. I've been busy.
Lately I've been working on another book.
