Birthday Concert

“I regret not hanging out with you a lot. I wanted to ask you something but I’m afraid it’s to late.” he said looking at Jaime. I then realized I forgot to introduce them. “Jared this is Jaime. He is in Pierce the Veil and has a serious girlfriend.” He eyes lit up and then he shook Jaime’s hand. Jared then said, “Sooooo how have you been?” “I’ve been great! My band has really taken off and it has been amazing touring! Actually one of my band mates name is Jared.” “Really?” “Yea. So how have you been?” “I’ve been alright. Clare broke up with me a few days after you left. I’ve been single since.” “I guess that’s good?” “No it is. I have my eye on someone else now.” “Oh you do?” “Yea. She’s amazing!” “I’m so happy for you!” “Thanks and Happy Birthday!” “You remembered!” “Of course I did!” “Thank you!” “I actually have a present at my house for you. I was going to bring it tonight to the concert.” “Bring it then! I’m so excited for tonight!” “I am too!” I hugged him one last time and said, “You should go back to class. You have 2 more then you’re done. I have to leave anyway.” “Bye Acadia. See you tonight!” He walked in class and I peeped my head in and said, “I’m so sorry.” The teacher recognized me and said, “Wait you’re the lead singer of Memories of Tomorrow.” “Yes ma’am I am.” “How do you know Jared?” “He was my friend when I went to school here. Before I dropped out and moved away on my own.” “Really?” “Yea. I only had a few friends. I was a nobody.” “Wow. Well it’s no problem. I will excuse him because he knows you and wanted to catch up.” “Thank you!” “Can you sign some thing for my daughter?” “I would love to! In fact… Bring her to the show tonight. *hands her back stage passes* I’d love to meet her and sign something for her there.” “Thank you so much.” I gave the teacher a hug. I then left. Me and Jaime went back and the bell rang and the halls started filling with people and people started talking and were confused and then some people recognized me and Me and Jaime ran to the front. Jared came after me and gave me one last hug and everyone saw and he said, “See you tonight.” I kissed his cheek and said, “The concert should be fun. Don’t forget to start singing Happy Birthday to me when I’m on stage.” “How could I?” He smiled at me and it was romantic. We hugged again and I left. I then thought ‘You’re welcome Jared’ Me and Jaime went to get ready for the show and sound check. After sound check I went out to meet people and sign things. When I was out signing things and talking and taking pictures I got a call from my dad. He said, “Hey listen baby. I’m really sorry about everything and I just wanted to say…” The line cut dead. Then I heard sorry. I turned around to see my dad in his full army gear and his whole team. I smiled and ran up to him and started crying. It was alway hard when my dad was deployed. I don’t care how made I was at him. All I ever wanted was for him to be safe. I was hugging him and I knew there was going to be video of this on youtube. I told my did I missed him and we both dried our eyes and the crowd was awing and some were crying and others saluted. I smiled and told my dad to go to the venue and say I sent you. They all went and I went back to meeting people and saying sorry that I was a mess. They hugged me and the others who were crying told me that they had deployed parents and or they died in battle. I hugged them tight. I then meet everyone and went back inside to clean up and I was my dad and the guard and I said they are with me and he let them through. When we got inside I said, “Do you guys thing you could help with tonight?” “How?” “Well like look out for the kids and others to make sure no one faints or gets hurt. Like crowd surfers.” In unison all the guys said, “We’re on it.” Before they let anyone in. The guys were placed through out the venue and had walkie talkie systems to communicate.  I thanked them for doing this and went back stage. I could hear the kids chanting my name and I smiled. We were getting ready to start and We all ran out on stage and they cheered and We started out set. Towards the middle I stopped to talk to the guys and the crowd and the I heard Jared sec ram “1-2-3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU…!” Him and all the guys started it and then everyone joined in and I was smiling and when they were done I said, “Thank You!” Then Vic brought out a little cupcake with a candle and I blew it out and he took out the candle and smushed the cupcake in my face. I was laughing and so was everyone. I goat towel and Vic went off stage and I said, “I’m going to get you for that Victor!” I went on with the show and when PTV went on I took a shower and changed in to comfy clothes and then went out and watched them preform. I got asked to sign some things and I did and Then I saw the teacher and I went up to her and said follow me. I brought them back stage and met her daughter. Her daughter looked so young. I asked the little girl, “Hey hunny how old are you?” “I’m 6” She said in a sweet little voice while holding up her fingers. I noticed she had really thin hair and we were talking and her mom was taking pictures of us and the little girl who’s name was Autum said, “I’m really glad I got to meet you while I was still here.” I asked her, “What do you mean?” “I have cancer. Mommy says that I will get better but I’m afraid I won’t.” I had a tears in my eyes and hugged her and said, “Oh darling don’t worry about that now. You will be okay. I will do everything I can to make sure you are alright.” Her mom started crying and I was hugging them both and then came time for me to go on stage with Vic and sing Hold On Till May and I lifted the little girl up and asked if she wanted to come with me and she nodded and I had her on my hip and brought her on stage and said into the mic, “I want to dedicatee this song to a beautiful little girl named Autum fighting a hard battle at such a young age.” I put her down and Vic started singing and Autum was dancing and I spun her around and danced with her when I sang. She was the cutest. Vic looked at her when she was dancing and smiled. Autum went on the riser and was dancing like a ballerina and I smiled and soon the song ended and Autum waved to the crowd and smiled. I hugged her and picked her back up and brought her back stage. It was getting late and I signed a bunch of things for her and so did all the other guys in my band and in PTV and then we all asked for her autograph and she was surprised and smiled and drew her name and I smiled and I was talking with the mom while Autum was playing with the guys. I said, “Listen I want to helps much as possible with making Autum’s dreams come true just in case she doesn’t make it so that way she can live her life to the fullest. We are going to Orlando tomorrow and then we have a day off and are going to Disney. If you can take 2 days off I’d love to take her with us.” “Oh thank you. The doctors say she might have a chance but I don’t know. She’s a fighter and her kemo starts next week.” “I would love to take you two to the next concert and to Disney all expenses paid.” “I can’t let you do that.” “You have no choice. You two are coming and I’m paying.” “Okay.” I smiled and hugged her and gave her the directions to the hotel. I booked the princess sweet for them. Me and Vic then sung Autum to sleep and the tour guys got all of our stuff and put it back on the bus and I went out and met some fans and signed things and then the rest of the guys came out and then PTV came out and we went on the bus. Well, I ride with PTV and the guys ride in a van. I don’t know why but I do and it works out just fine and the guys don’t mind at all. I was getting in my pjs when Mike walked on and I was just in my big t-shirt and I hadn’t put on pants. I quickly put on my  pants and Mike said,  “Sorry.” “It’s fine. It’s not like you haven’t seen me in my undies before and you have a girlfriend. So it’s nbd and it’s just like wearing a bikini bottom. Andy no Sponge Bob jokes. I then looked for my glasses and couldn’t find them and I realized I left them in the dressing room and I ran off the bus in my sweats and a big off the shoulder shirt in my superman socks and slippers and ran into the venue and came back out with my glasses on and my sparkly headband and a few other things the guys forgot and all the gifts. I then put them on the bus and came back out and took a few more pictures with people and someone was taking a video and I said, “Even rockers have pjs and I’m damn comfortable right now.” I smiled and someone asked me to say something to their friend and another person asked me what I was wearing and I said, “My pjs. My shirt is from Walmart, sweats from amazon, my socks are from hot topic, and my slippers are from bongo.” I smiled and hugged her. I then saw. Jared and the guys and I ran up and attacked Jared. I smiled and went up to him and kissed his cheek and I hugged all the guys and the Jared pulled out a box.
