I walk into our house, passing through the living room and walking into the kitchen slowly. Adam stays behind me, and from the kitchen you couldn't even see that he was there.

I stopped at the island, Dane sitting with his back to me.

"Hey," I say softly.

"Hey," He grumbles, turning around on his stool.

"Care to explain to me what's happening in this video?" He says angrily, lifting his phone towards me to show me the video of the fight.

"Aaron went crazy," I started, "He started beating Adam up for breaking up with Marie!"

"And why are you there?"

"Because. I was walking to my car and I heard the fight start, so I ran over and tried to stop it." I answered.

"You punched him!" Dane said in disbelief.

"He called me a whore!" I responded

"He also said Adam broke up with Marie for you," Dane said angrily, his voice raising, "Is that true?"

"He was angry! You saw how irrational he was being!" I responded, avoiding the question.

"If he was being so irrational, then why wasn't Adam punching him back?" Dane demanded, looking at me. "Because if there's one thing I know about my best friend is that he sure as hell doesn't hesitate to punch back, unless he thinks he was wrong."

I stood there, speechless, staring at my brother with tears in my eyes.

"Caitlin!" He barked, walking over to me.

"Was it true or not?" He yelled so loud I thought the neighbors would hear. His tall frame towered over mine, his green eyes a storm, pleading for the truth.

"It's true," Adam said, stepping forward so Dane could see him.

"You piece of shit!" Dane yelled, diving for Adam and knocking him to the ground, planting a punch to his face,

"I told you to stay the hell away from my sister! That's the only thing I asked you to do! And you did it anyway!" Dane yelled, half hurt and half angry.

"Dane stop!" I yelled at him, fully crying now.

Adams nose was bleeding again, and his lip was busted open in the already cut spot.

"Stop!" I yelled as loud as I could, reaching for Dane and trying to pull him away.

He pulled his arm back to get ready for the next punch, his elbow colliding with my face with so much force I was thrown backwards onto my butt.

I groaned loudly and whimpered, holding my face. Adam threw Dane off of him and jumped up, running over to me.

"Cait, oh my god, Cait are you okay?" He asked, gently pulling my hand off of my face. There was blood on my hand.

Adam clicked his tongue, "Baby, you're bleeding," he said, frowning.

"Look what you just did to your sister, you ass!" Adam yelled turning around to face Dane.

"I'm so sorry Cait," Dane said, looking at me with so much pain that I felt guilty for getting hit.

"This is all your fault!" Dane yelled at Adam, charging towards him again.
