The Rangers symbol is made up of 10 different units of the UN's military. Each color represents a unit from a company that survived the bombs and joined up under Asher to form the Steel Rangers. Where there are two of the same color is when there are two units left from a company. Most units were completely massacred by the bombs, only two of the 10 companies were able to have more then one surviving unit.
