I sat on the fences of mom's farm after helping out with the chores to let her avoid doing anything by herself. She watched me struggling to stand close to any of the farm Pokémon, and running away almost about a million times from them wanting to smell me. I tried my hardest to not scream and run away like a little-

Anyways... Mom kept trying to tell me she was okay to do the usual chores, but I refused to let her get up from her bench chair and cause more stress in her thoughts. Luckily, I sucked it up and did everything correct without needing help, and am now sitting on the far end of the fence farthest from the house to take in the cool air to relax my nerves after taking a nice lukewarm shower to wash away the sweat I don't usually create, since I was running from these Pokémon most of the time

"Fen..?" The Fennekin from yesterday sat below the fence I sat on, trying to get my attention. As usual, I ignored it and hoped it would just leave me alone. This thing just keeps showing up everywhere. The little thing even tried helping me with the chores... not that it did much, but I do appreciate that it's been trying to get my approval

"Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?" I removed my sunglasses to look down at it using my silhouette for shade "What's it going to take for you to leave me alone? Mom is in the house doing who knows what. Make sure she doesn't stress herself out, got it?" Its ears lowered and slowly turned around, then looked over its shoulder to look at me. I was too busy staring at nothing, hoping it'll leave as soon as possible

After a moment, it returned back home. I can finally relax on my own "Hey! Sophia!" Shauna's voice yelled out... and here I thought I could relax... looks like I have to deal with another annoying creature

I hopped off the fence, yet I didn't bother facing her. She knew that I already looked like Serena, so the hiding doesn't imply with her. Just in case, I'm going to keep this scarf around my head

"Hey!" Shauna finally reached me with a smile "Didn't expect you to be out here! Good morning!" I acted like she wasn't present and leaned on the fence "Uh... so anyways! I wanted to ask you something, if you don't mind" I sighed

"What can it possibly be? Does it have to do with my appearance? Because if it is, it's none of your business" she waved her hands

"O-oh! No... well yes" she looked away shyly "that's only one of the questions I wanted to ask you" since I have nothing better to do, I guess I'll just have to listen to what this girl has to say. I still have to make sure she doesn't say anything about what she saw the other day "I just wanted to know why Serena didn't mention that you two were twins" I leaned away from the fence and faced her

"What makes you think we're twins?" She looked at me directly

"You two look almost identical!" Her expression softened when she noticed mine didn't like how she raised her voice "Why hasn't she said anything!?" I sighed, knowing I'll have to explain myself eventually. In order to get good information out of her, I have to seem less threatening than I usually do. We'll just have to see how this plays out

"Because I told her too" she was taken back a little "I didn't want anyone knowing Serena had a twin sister. Others will start trying to compare the two of us. We are far from the same... The last thing she needs is to be compared to someone as messed up as I am" I lowered my hat low enough so she wouldn't see how frustrated I looked "She has a lot going for her, and she doesn't need others to try to get her to compare with me just because we're twins. She has a better future going for her, while I'm not going anywhere" I turned my back "That's why I do not want you telling anyone what you saw" I looked at her straight in her surprised eyes "Is that clear? You will not speak of this to anyone. Have you told anyone yet?"
