I was picking out my outfit in my bedroom that I rented for the night in some castle north of Camphrier Town. Calem was staying next door from me, though it would be nice if he stayed in his room he paid for, right now

"That's allot of clothes you have there" Calem smiled from a couch on the other side of the room "where do you keep it all?"

"Are you planning on staying here the whole night?" I held my hip

"Do you mind if I did?" He smiled wide, crossing his legs together like a child

"Yes! I mind!" I glared "you got your own room for a reason!" He laughed

"Actually... I don't" my eye twitched "I lied"

"Excuse me? What do you mean you lied?"

"Why do you think there's two beds here?" I slowly looked at the extra bed I was confused about when I walked in "I promise I don't snore" he brought down his legs, giving me access to stomp my foot between his legs, on the seat. He jumped, turning blue

"What. did. you. do..?" He scooted up on the seat to move my foot away farther from his crouch

"You almost hit me there..." he let out a deep breath before calming himself and looked into my angry eyes and pink cheeks "so what I did was... I paid for a two bed suite room before you had a chance... and only paid more than half of it to make you think we got separate rooms... that's why it was so cheap for you! You basically only paid the other bit left for this room, to make it more believable" I glared harder, grabbing his collar with both hands and shook him like a rag doll

"What was the reason for that!? You idiot!!" I forced him off the chair and threw his body on the floor. All he does is laugh! I stared at his cheeks starting to flush and I backed off to watch him acting this way. He's like a doll, huh? "Did you really do that just so you can stay by my side?" He calmed his laughing by a bit, lifting his head to look at me, and laid back down to close his eyes and smile to himself.

I looked at the bed to see his bag, seeing his camera peaking out. My first instincts was to reach to grab it and point the lens towards him, taking a picture of his relaxed state. He immediately looked up after the flash

"Taking a picture of me, eh?" He smirked. I took out the picture and shook it, looking away with my cheeks getting hot "so... do you mind if I stay?"

"Of course I do, you're sleeping outside" I looked at his picture in my hand, seeing that part of my finger was on the edge "on second thought... keep this room. I'll go get my own" I turned away to the door, only to feel him take my hand to stop me. I looked back to see him still on the floor, sitting up "let go of me" I tried pulling away

"Sorry I lied to you" I stared at him, waiting. He sighed and looked down "it's just that..." I sighed and pet his head, making him look up surprise

"Just shut up... I don't feel like talking right now. As long as you stay on your side of the room, we should be fine. Banette will be keeping its eyes on you" he smiled big, nodding, then looked down and sighed "what is it now?"

"Well... it's just that..." he shook his head and smiled again "maybe not the right time right now" I slowly nodded and went back to pick out a outfit for tomorrow. Wonder what he wanted to say that he doesn't want to say at the moment. Could it be about his clinginess towards me? or could it be that he wanted to ask about our past... if we even had one. I'm still not quite sure myself

I picked out my outfit and threw the rest into Banette's mouth it had open "nice shot" Calem sat on his bed. I ignored him completely, giving him the chance to turn on the tv for the news. I looked up to see that they were talking about the power outage across Kalos a few seconds to the end before their topic went back to what happened in that alley with those gang members. I lost interest, never really having much of it in the first place, and started getting ready for the night
