Chapter 54: End•

"I grew up as the twin sister of Serena, as you all know very well" I faced everyone in the audience "She was the shining sun while I was the dark moon. I grew up within the darkness and didn't understand much. I stayed on the shadowed part of the clouds, wishing to find a better future, with no results. I'd thought I'd always remain the same, but when there was a time when I had the opportunity to find myself, I took it. There was even a time when I was deeply afraid of Pokémon, and in order to get rid of something such as fear, you had to see... do something that makes you react different than how you felt about it before" AZ was close to approaching the stage "Being a Pokémon trainer was the best thing I could had become... it brought me closer to my Pokémon, and made me a more caring person. It was a dream come true... but a dream doesn't always have to be a dream, it might start off as a nightmare. You may have these nightmares, eventually you're going to fall into a wonderful reality someday. Bad things shouldn't last forever... you can't wait for something good to happen. It's you who decides how your life is going to be. Whether you're in a very bad state, there's always going to be hope" I faced AZ now below me, looking up at me "you can look all you want... you can walk for 3,000 years if you want, but if you don't see what's in front of you, what's the point? Things may have turn bad at first, but Shadow and light are two sides of the same coin..." I took out Banette's pokéball "one cannot exist without the other. Your past defines your future. It'll always be right behind you, you choose which side you want to use" AZ took out his own Pokéball

"Battle with me" he said "about being a trainer... I want to know what a 'trainer' is"

"It's the best thing you can be when you want to be close with your Pokémon" I send out Banette wearing a necklace with the Banettite on the metal as he send out his own Pokémon "B has been with me through it all! I'll accept your challenge. Let's show them how strong our bond is! Mega Evolve!" I held my keystone, watching it glow along with B's stone, slowly starting to evolve it temporarily and transform into a larger voodoo doll with a lot more zippers around its body "I hope I can make you understand, after all these years, just what freedom can feel like"

The battle went through its ups and down. Many of my Pokémon failed the battle and fainted. We all were in perfect sync and they understood how I felt and I knew how they felt. Even if a few failed on me, we were successful on winning the battle. I picked up Pikachu's tired body as it won against its opponent

"You did wonderful... you've improved" Pikachu rubbed its eyes and smiled

"Pika!" I smiled back and looked back at AZ bringing back his Pokémon, with a smile. Through the battle of watching me and how I handled being with my Pokémon, how I felt when they got knocked out, how I smiled when we were perfectly synchronize, he smiled to himself and nodded

"Thank you very much for battling with me. Now I understand... now I finally feel free" my eyes widened a little, happy to know my efforts paid off correctly "free from the part of me filled with sorrow, the part of me that build the ultimate weapon..." I held my heart

"I understand you, AZ. That sorrow... I lost someone close to me as well, and I long wish for him to come back. Him being away... I've understand my family's feelings more. I didn't know it at first, but I was sad my entire life, watching life go by and wish it gone better. I wish the bad things I've done never happened, but when push comes to shove... good always rewards you" I smiled and opened my arms in a welcoming manner "please be good to her..." he looked at me confused. I pointed up at the sky, at a flower slowly flowing through the air and coming towards him. He was frozen on the spot, opening his hands to watch it land on him, looking into the eyes of a fairy smiling up at him

"Floette..." AZ gasped, falling on his knees, and started crying "it's been 3,000 years" Calem ran beside me

"That's..." I nodded

"his Pokémon was waiting all this time... waiting for him to return to the man he was. The man who loved Pokémon with all his heart" he smiled at me

"You're very much alike... my wait... even if it took 3000 years, it was worth the wait" I pushed him playfully

"This isn't about you!" He laughed. I looked back at Floette floating away from AZ to face me

"Thank you... Sakura!" She smiled "the both of you changed in the matter of times! I'm so happy!" She faced AZ "Now... you understand! Now we can be together!" Tears ran out her eyes "you big dummy... you made me wait this long!" I giggled. I guess after trying to look like my reflection for so long, she picked up my sass. It was a heartfelt moment, and I couldn't feel any happier being a part of this moment.

I closed my eyes to see Xerneas and Yveltal in their disguise form, smiling at me before kneeling and bowing to me.

Calem wrapped his arms around my shoulder to wake me up and brought me close. That's right, I have no use to look into the dream world anymore. My dreams already came true. The crowd was cheering, so the right thing to do was wave to everyone and take in the welcome of being a official citizen of Kalos. Today is the first day of a new life for not only me, but for all of us...

It's over! Omg! That editing process took forever, but I'm so glad I got to finish this all and share it with you guys! This took me 3 months to write and I left it alone for a little while. I finally finished today! February 5, 2018. I wanted to creat a noncanon chapter after this one, stating on the what ifs, if Sophia actually told her mom and Serena about her dad in the hospital. I'm not sure if you'll want that, but it'll be a lot different than this story. I'll only be a one chapter story, so I'm not going to write another chapter book! Ain't nobody got time for that! Lol! By now!

P.s : there will be a chapter after this that will reference different princess in different animes I had added in the story. There will be descriptions there so check it out! I'm proud of it!
