A tutor

"Lauren... wake up!"

LAURENS POV

I woke up to the bright light of the morning.
And my sister,Marissa,waking me up.

Marissa: it's time for school!!!!! Wait do you know if Alex is going to be there??

Lauren: I-I don't know, it's not like I know his every move.

I got up and sat on my bed.

Marissa: well I do.

I looked at Marissa with a questioned look.

Marissa: anyway, mom told me to wake you up for school!! And she got an email from the teacher telling you to meet her at the library before school so, don't be late!

Marissa skipped out of my room

"In the library before school?" I thought out loud. What is so important?

I stood up and got dressed in my best clothes, then went to the kitchen to eat some cereal.

Mom: morning laur!

Lauren: morning.

Marissa came to the table with her charm bracelet with Alex's face on it.

Lauren: why do you like him again?

Marissa: well, remember when I was pushed into the pool???

I chuckled

Lauren: how could I forget?? Your scream was so high pitched!

Marissa looked at me with a Stern look.

Marissa: anyway, Alex came in and saved me!

Marissa looked all dreamy

Marissa: he's my Knight in shining armor!

Lauren: that was two years ago and I'm pretty sure he was being nice!

Marissa: and after that, i realized, how cute, handsome, athletic, smart...

Lauren: oh that one is a lie! He's the dumbest kid I know!

Mom: now Lauren, don't be mean.

Marissa: yeah! Lauren! Just because he isn't a straight A student doesn't mean he's dumb

Lauren: well I need to go to school early, bye!!

On the bus

Marissa: what does ms. Max want with you anyway?

Lauren: I have no idea! I don't think I'm in trouble!

Marissa: look who's boarding the bus!!

I look over to see Alex boarding the bus.

Marissa: omg omg omfg!!!! It's him!!

Marissa: hiiiiii aleeeexx!

Alex: oh hi.

Alex smiled and said..

"I like your hair Lauren"

Lauren: oh thanks, I actually, wear this style everyday so, glad you like it!!!

Marissa: she's my sister!!!!

Alex nodded and sat down in the row across from us

Marissa: dangit! Should have never picked the window seat!!!

At school

Lauren: gotta go to the library!

Marissa: wishing you luck!!!

I ran to the library and saw ms.max

Max: hello! I'm glad you made it.

Lauren: am I in trouble?

She smiled

Max: no your not in trouble! I just wanted your opinion on something.

Lauren: oh ok!

Max: so as you know your a straight A+ student

Lauren: mhm.

Max: and our teacher recently had been transferred to a different high school.

Lauren: oh no not mrs. Jamie!

Max: so I was wondering, if you wanted to maybe tutor a struggling student.

Lauren: oh I'd be happy to help!!

Max: great! I already contacted him and told him to meet you after school!

Lauren: ok thanks!
