I walked to school with Alex
Alex: soo, this is what you do every morning?
Lauren: yep.
Alex: wow. This is awesome! I feel so alive!!
Lauren: you feel alive?
Alex: I've done so many things by myself, I think I have a bump on my hand.
I looked at Alex's hand
Lauren: that's a callus.
Alex: a palace?
Lauren: no a callus! It's like, idk but that's a callus.
Alex: good to know.

Lauren: thats what happens when we stop for hot coco!
In class
Teacher: yesterday as you know was the first day of our SATs! Some kids were absent, so today while they do there test we'll go on our phones!
Danielle: Alex! Alex! Alex!
I could tell Alex was trying to pretend to not hear her
Danielle: Alex! Alex!
Alex: ughhh what??
Danielle: you look cute today!
Alex: thanks?
Danielle: I see your doing you SATs. Why is it that we need to do our SATs while we're juniors?
Danielle: *whisper* that dork in front of you really seems to "work hard" on these things. It's so nerdy and not the cute kind.

Lauren: no I got this.
Danielle: do you?
Lauren: it seems though you think I'm a dork
Danielle: I mean, yeah! who studies for tests???
Lauren: people who don't become failures. Oh wait, you didn't study did you? I'd call you a failure but I bet you get that enough from you parents already.
Danielle: EXCUSE ME??
Lauren: I think you should leave before I start trying to hurt your feelings
Danielle: can you believe her? Wow. She's so mean.
Alex: listen Danielle I need to do my test so can you please stop bothering me?
Danielle: OK fine! Do well!!

Lauren: done!
Teacher: good job Lauren!
Alex: ughrr!!
Lauren: what's wrong?
Alex: this stupid test! Its soo hard!
Lauren: wait a second.. this is a seniors test!
Alex: it is?
Lauren: yeah I know this from Marissa's homework! This is 12th grade math!
Alex: i'm guessing she just made a mistake
Lauren: well go ask her!
Alex walked up to her desk
Alex: uh ms?
Teacher: yes?
Alex: you gave me a senior test....
Teacher: But you are a senior!
Alex: I'm a junior.
Teacher: wait, you guys are juniors?
Alex: yeah.
Teacher: oh no! That means that I gave all you guys senior tests and miss.Carey gave her senior students junior tests!!
Lauren: uh oh.
Alex: so seniors are doing the easy stuff????
Teacher: oh crap! And I submitted the tests they did yesterday!!! KIDS!!
Everyone looked over at the teacher
Teacher: you all did senior math!!
Danielle: no wonder it was so hard!
Teacher: and Lauren, you got every single one right!
Lauren: I-I did?
Teacher: yes! And everyone might've gotten bad grades because it was too hard!
Danielle: so I won't get into Harvard???
Lauren: even if we had Junior tests you still would've failed!
Teacher: enough! What am I gonna do? It's already sent in!
Alex: just have us redo it?
Teacher: but the ones yesterday were sent in already! We can't redo those!
Lauren: so just tell them that there was a mixup!
Teacher: oh I got to get to miss.Carey's class! They probably got away with it!
The teacher ran out of the room
Lauren: good job Alex!
Alex: what did I do right?
Lauren: you save everyone for not getting into college! They were more test after this, we all could've failed if you didn't say something!
Alex: but you got all them right! At least someone would be going to college!
Lauren: but your a life saver!
Danielle: Alex! Omg why didn't you ask me for help?? I would've helped you!
Alex: um Danielle?
Danielle: what?
Alex: I need to tell you something.
Danielle: what?
Alex: I'm uh,I, um need to...uhhh... LAUREN has to tell you something!!!
Danielle: what?
Lauren: *sigh* he wants to-
Alex: wait!!! Lauren? Can talk to you outside??
