"Ah, there you are, my mother! And. . . Iris. I see that you're looking a little better than before, my sister. Tell me, did you finally bathe for the first time in your life?!" Xavier's voice boomed through the hall as soon as we entered the large room.

The half drunken men and women began laughing. . . until they realized who we were. They immediately fell silent and bowed their heads as we passed. Xavier however, laughed loudly at his own joke, pissing me off almost immediately.

In only a second, I grabbed an empty cup from the nearest table and flung it at his head. Xavier dodged my attack, however, tilting his head to the side to avoid the cup that hurdled past his face.

"Now, now, Iris. settle down", Mother scolded, before pulling me to where my siblings and the Second sat. Before we sat down, Second George introduced his new Beta to me, a tall muscular fellow, whose name I didn't bother to remember.

I was too busy looking at the guy's abs, which peaked out from under his short t-shirt.

We all sat down (except for Xavier, who started wandering around the hall in a drunken stupor) and a few humans came to our table and poured wine in our glasses. The poor humans silently bowed at us before retreating out of the room. I crossed my legs, grabbed my glass, and slowly looked around. To my surprise, the hall looked exactly the same. As 'gods and goddesses', I expected the werewolves to beautify the halls for us. But that wasn't the case apparently. The gold wolves actually seemed a bit more carefree around us, laughing and singing Songs of War all over the hall. They contrasted deeply with our more 'radical' worshippers of the past.

Having mortals kiss my feet and praise everything I did, whilst worshipping my name, my body and my power. . . was really not my thing.

Well. . . unless they were really hot werewolf males, or cute little male toddlers, or really, really, really sexy Alpha Males, with muscles the size of-

Calm down Iris, not in public.

I looked continued to gaze lazily at the sights around me, sighing longingly when a lovely specimen came into view. I really hoped to have at least one of these gold males in my bed tonight. Unfortunately, many of them had a golden female at their side, or a few human girls on their laps (who looked either too afraid or too drunk to resist the werewolf males' advances). I really didn't want to disrupt their fun, or seem desperate. . . so with a heavy heart, I made the decision to be a good girl and stay where I was.

That only lasted for a few minutes.

Now frustrated, I gazed at our table. Mother sat silently, listening to an animated Aria, who was glad to finally have mother to herself. Cronus sat the same way, silently gazing at everything in the hall.

Xavier's seat was still empty (He left earlier and hadn't come back), and only the Second and his Beta remained seated. He was however. . .

Surrounded by large males.

They laughed and shouted at the Second, praising him for his victories, and created one toast after the other for no apparent reason. A grin slowly formed on my lips.

Well, well, well, what do we have here?

I passed my hands through my hair, uncrossed my legs, grabbed my glass, and stood up. The hall's noise faltered for a few moments, everyone staring at my action with curious eyes. Slowly, I turned to the Second's direction, and walked towards him.

The males at the table heard my footstep and froze before turning around. I smiled slyly as I walked past the beautiful males. They all moved away from me slightly, bowing as my form strolled past them. With a nod, I sat down in Xavier's seat, and stared at the surprised males.
