Elliot's POV

"Ahaha! I'm . . . I'm sorry. . . but I can't help but laugh after hearing that!" Lilly exclaimed, holding her sides. "H-how could a werewolf even do that! You're so weird!" She giggled, and I nervously laughed along with her.

When Lilly asked about my horns and tails, I froze, and told her that it was a long story.

Apparently, she enjoyed long stories.

After a minute of her constant pushing and prodding I blurted out something stupid to appease her. I told her that it was an accident, that I had tried to shift back to human form, but somehow got stuck somewhere between my human and wolf forms. Thankfully, she found it funny instead of questioning the logic behind it.

"I could already tell that you're a funny she-wolf, Elliot", she said and I hummed, before looking away. 'She thinks I'm funny', I thought, then triumphantly balled my hands into fists. 'Someone thinks that I'm funny. Take that Deimos.'  I thought with a smirk.

After having that laugh, Lilly seemed to get her energy back, and was magically able to walk on her own. She placed her hands behind her back, and begin hopping into the large paw prints made by the wolves in the area. She hopped from one paw print to the other, creating her own little game. "You said that you were a Luna, right?" She suddenly asked, and I nodded.

"What's it like?" She asked eagerly. "Well I. . . actually, I can't really say. I've only recently become Luna, and I-I still don't know how I'm supposed to feel."

She tilted her head at me, and in a way, it felt strangely familiar.

"I guess. . . I feel like I'm now responsible for a lot of people, and that thought lingers in the back of my mind a lot", Lilly listened quietly, then nodded. "I see", she finally said, before hopping over to the next paw print.

"You're quite strong for a Luna, huh?"

I almost stopped walking.

Her smile remained, but her eyes. . . Her eyes seemed unnaturally focused. It was as If her blue eyes weren't expressing what her Aura and body language seemed to exude.

"You think so?" I asked innocently, scratching the back of my head. "Yeah, but I can't really put my finger on it. Your Aura is a bit too messed up for me", she said, rubbing her temple. "Anyways. . . I'll have to put my mission on hold. New first mission. . . bath", she said in a serious tone. I nodded, but then looked down at her hands. "Did you bring any luggage? Like clothes to change into?"

Lilly stopped walking, then she paled.

Her eyes widened. . . then she covered her face with her hands.

"I want to die."

"Hey, don't say that! I'm sure I can find something for you to wear! S-so don't worry about it, okay?" I quickly interjected, and she slowly peeked through her fingers.

"Really?"

"Yes really."

She uncovered her face, then placed her hands on my shoulders. "Are you like, my best friend now?" She asked, and I nervously looked around. "Umm. . ."

She simply grinned, before placing her hands behind her back. "We should spar sometime! As new besties!" She changed emotions in the blink of an eye, and excitedly resumed her hopping. "It'll be fun, I promise!" She said, then stopped hopping suddenly.

Before I could ask what was wrong, A familiar form lunged into my side, almost knocking me off my feet. "Elly! I finally found you!" Marley cried, rubbing her face into my stomach. "Oh, Marley. Hey."

"What do you mean, hey? I was looking for you everywhere! The entire pack was on high alert!" Marley said, before adjusting her eye patch. "I heard that you went off the territory with some strange Rogue! Are you okay?" She asked, and I quickly nodded. "Geez! At least tell me that you're leaving the territory-" Marley stopped when she noticed Lilly a few feet away. "Oh, sorry. I didn't notice you there. . ." Marley trailed off when she noticed the look the Lilly eyes.

Again, her blue eyes seemed to glow unnaturally.

"Umm, Lilly?"
