Please note

In the previous chapter, I made a little mistake.

Gray had lost his arm in chapter 33, but I had unfortunately forgotten about that. (>.<)

I wrote that he had two hands in chapter 48, unfortunately.

Its already been edited, so those that didn't know could go back to it and read it over, if you wish.

An hour later.

Marley's POV

I slowly opened my eye, then blinked rapidly to adjust my it to the environment around me. I looked down and realized that there was a large sheet around my form. Looking up, I realized that the ceiling wasn't green, the way that my tent originally was. The material above me was white, and it went as far as my eyes could see. Where one ended, another tent began.

As my eye trailed downwards, I realized that there was a steady flow of Omegas and medical wolves moving the the tents. While I watched them rush past where I laid, questions started appearing in my mind.

What's going on? Why aren't I in the green tent? Was I moved? Did we change locations again?

I closed my eye, then suppressed those questions.

It doesn't matter. Not anymore.

My body suddenly trembled, and my stomach grumbled painfully. I winced, then turned to my side.

I hadn't eaten properly in almost two weeks. I refused to eat.

Because of that, I hadn't been conscious for many days.

Sometimes, I'd wake up, and not know where I was, or even who I was. I was tired, so very tired. My body trembled constantly, and my stomach twisted into knots. Yet still, I wouldn't eat.

I wouldn't speak, I would barely move.

Somewhere along the way, somewhere along our journey, I had simply given up.

Maybe it was after seeing the deaths of my Elders, or the deaths of the people I loved. Maybe it was after I saw Gray almost die.

Maybe it was after I realized how unfair life was.

My unconscious state was my place of solace.

When I woke up, the remembrance of my horrible life haunted me.

I didn't want to remember. I just wanted to sleep.
