We pulled up at a fairly large house, not as big as the one in America but equally as impressive; especially seeing as it was owned by a 23 year old. "Nice innit" He said as he noticed me observing it, I rolled my eyes and slung my bag over my shoulder, "How can you even afford this?" I replied, ignoring his previous statement, not being able to contain my nosiness any longer. "Well the four of us that live here are all youtubers, we make pretty good money from it" He said proudly, taking my hand and dragging me towards the door. Once we entered he began to shout names that I was too uninterested to take notice of, "Come on lets go into the kitchen while we wait for them" He ordered, leading me towards an extravagant room, it would have been almost breathtaking if it was for the terrible mess and clutter. "Sit" He commanded, I for once did what I was told and took a seat at the breakfast bar, spinning around on the chair as I waited for whoever else was in the house. "Hey Jo.. Wait who's this?" I heard someone say as I swirled round to face the door where three confused boys stood. "Guys this is Lola, Lola this is Simon, Vik and JJ" Josh said, breaking the tension in the atmosphere, "Not to be rude but can someone please explain who this Lola girl is?" Simon said, it took me a few seconds to realise where I recognised his vote voice from. "Ah so now the dickhead has a name" I interjected, making the others give me a puzzled look, "When I called to see where Josh was seeing as I waited three hours and he still hadn't turned up this little wanker answered the phone and called me a liar, saying that I was a disrespectful fan and not to forget a bitch" I continued, doing air quotations every time I repeated what Simon said earlier. "How was I supposed to know you weren't a fan! Josh never told us about you, and you're attitude on the phone was quite frankly terrible" He responded, trying to be the bigger person. "Now now Simon thats no way to talk to your friends little sister is it?" Feeling a rush of adrenaline as I hopped up onto the counter, giving the boy a smug look. "Can someone please explain whats going on!" JJ jokingly screamed, probably asking what was on everyones mind right now.

"Basically about six years ago our mum and dad passed away in a car accident, I was 18 at the time so I was legally an adult whereas Lola was only 12 so she had to be put into a foster home until she was adopted." Josh explained, the others staring in disbelief as if it was all some elaborate prank. "Wait couldn't you have got custody over her?" Vik asked curiously, making me chuckle, "Well you'd think that would be the obvious option, that way the scared twelve year old that just lost her parents wouldn't have to go live with strangers for the next six years but apparently Josh had other ideas" I snapped, feeling all the anger from all those many years ago coming flooding back, "Josh?" Vik replied, waiting for him to continue the story. "I didn't have the time or money to look after a twelve year old so I agreed for a super nice american couple to adopt her and take her back to the US with them, I regret that decision every single day." He replied, looking down at the floor and fiddling with the hem of his top. "And now she is going to be staying with us for a while, I hope thats ok, I was to scared to ask you before" He added, the others giving him comforting smiles, "Wait but why is she staying here, I think its pretty obvious she doesn't want to be here" JJ said, making josh sigh, "Well I got expelled from school and got given no choice but to come here in order to make me a better person or some shit like that" I groaned before quickly adding "And no, your aren't wrong, I don't want to be here".
