Simons POV-

Today was certainly a lot crazier than I imagined, I never thought I would walk down the stairs to a beautiful girl swirling around on one of our kitchen stalls, and beyond that I never even thought Josh had a sister! I could tell she had a troublesome attitude the moment she began speaking but I noticed something different about her, her eyes were filled with sadness and loneliness, something I guessed not many people noticed. The moment I saw her I knew something was off, the way her expression flicked for a split second every time she would look at Josh, the look was quickly hidden by a smirk or frown but I could tell that behind the badass rebel act was that scared twelve year old, the one who lost her parents and her brother in what seemed to be a matter of days.

Lola's POV-

I eventually managed to escape from the kitchen to my new bedroom, I had to get away; the way Simon looked at me with such depth and intensity frankly scared the shit out of me. It was as if he could peel back my exterior and see everything I had spent so long hiding from not only the outside world but also myself. As if with one single look he would know all my secrets.
