This is highly irregular. But the climate has just gotten so out of hand lately, I think it deserves some recognition.
Harvey, Irma, Jose and now, Katia. 4 high leveled hurricanes that appear at roughly the same time⌚. Doesn't this feel like the setting for an alien👽 invasion? Like, plot twist, this is actually the sixth wave (creepy organ music playing in the background).
Jokes aside, the damage it caused was widespread and devastating. Hurricane Irma was even said to be larger than the state of Ohio!!
For those directly affected by the hurricanes, our hearts and prayers are with you. If you live within potential striking distance of the storm, please, please try to stay safe. Evacuation is probably the safest option. But if you can't move, best to stay well prepared within public storm shelters or your basement.
Also, if anyone ever wondered how scientists come up with names for the hurricanes, it's pretty simple. You can refer to the picture above. There is apparently a strict guideline established by the World🌍 Meteorological Organisation. For Atlantic hurricanes, there is a list of male👨 and female👧 names which are used on a six-year rotation.
