I was the first to let go of the embrace, that was tight, bone-breaking, and warm. Warmth I did not want to let go of anytime soon- but all good things must come to a end. Jonah looked up, his eyes the same color as before, not a crimson blood red.
"I'm sorry Angel, I wasn't myself."
I was confused, why did he do whatever he did in the first place?
"What even happened?"
I asked, puzzled. The boys all stared at each other. Daniel and Corbyn started talking at the same time. They were making random hand movements, but I couldn't make sense of anything they were trying to tell me.
"So yeah..."
Daniel quickly adds to the last part, which was the only thing I heard. I didn't use words, because I knew my confused expression told everything I was thinking at that moment.
"Just, forget that ever happened."
Zach quickly says to make sense of things- but in fact, he did the polar opposite of that. It only make me more disorderly. I wanted to forget what just happened, so I just shrug my shoulders and walk to the kitchen for breakfast. The boys were confused looking back and forth to each other, which they then shrug their shoulders and carry on with this deranged morning.
