~*~ Chapter Three ~*~
"Psssst..." I heard from the desk next to me.
"What?" I hissed at Aqua, who I coincidentally had third period with.
"Do you understand th-" She began to ask until our Algebra I teacher, Mr. Gomez, interupted.
"Miss, uh, Miss-" he studdered, looking down at his seating chart, "Miss Wasser and Miss Terra, do we have something to share?"
I saw that there was a large stack of papers on Mr. Gomez's desk. Being an Earth Elemental, I can control anything coming from nature. I looked over to Aqua, who had the same idea. I shuved my hand into my hoodie pouch and thrusted my fist quickly towards the floor. Like I had a string, the papers flew to the tiles floor. The others in the class laughed.
After Algebra was lunch. I told Gale, Aqua and Amber that I would catch up with them later. After I watched them disappear into the cafateria, I headed for the bathroom. I ran towards the sink and puked. Being in the Earth family, I puked leaves. Like a maple loosing its leaves in Autumn, leaves poored out of me. I couldn't take human highschool. The smells were too strong (Elementals have the senses of wolves. In other words, we can smell everything.), the school building was covered in grime, and the kids all smelt of a gymasium. I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it, I thought. As I was peeling the last of the orange, red and green leaves from my throat, the stall door farthest from me began to rattle and a short girl walked out. The first words I thought were trying too hard. She had unnaturally blonde hair, a too tight shirt, and was probably wearing two bra sizes too small.
"What the -" she began, but ended the sentence in a shriek.
I noticed seconds later that a guy had walked out of the stall with her.
"Wanna tell me why there's a sink filled with a Thanksgiving centurepiece?" He asked, putting his hand over the blonde's mouth.
"Wanna tell me why there's a guy in the girl's bathroom?" I said, finishing with a caugh of six more leaves.
"Touche," he said, "you first."
I noticed that he wore a snarky grin that I was tempted to smack off. I also noticed that he had the darkest eyes I've ever seen. They looked like two black holes sitting on white sheets.
"They were in my shoes when I walked in to school." I said. Worst. Lie. Ever.
"Sure they were, becuase you're wearing flip flops and it's summer," He said, sending the blonde through the door of the bathroom and whispering something uninteligable into her ear. She giggled and left. He had a certain way of carrying himself that suggested that he was hot and he knew it,
"What's your name?"
"Lily. Why are you in the girl's room?" I asked, returning the grin.
"I was making some money," He said. I didn't need anymore information to know he was selling himself, "Want something? I'm having a buy one get one free sale!"
"Pass." I replied, feeling more and more uncomfortable by the moment.
As if he knew, he took a step closer and said "I gotta go, Lily. See ya around?"
"Please, don't count on it."
As he left the bathroom, I couldn't help but notice that all of the stall locks shifted as he walked past them.
