JaeHyun's POV

Unfortunately my team didn't win the group battle, but one of the mansae teams did. Park WooDam hyung who was their main vocal really killed it with the high notes so I'm not really jealous because they really deserved it.

All the trainees gathered in the auditorium to listen to something BoA sunbaenim had to say.

The next hour she gave us advice, told us stories about her hard times so that we knew that we weren't alone.

''Keep a tight hold of your dreams, your skills will never betray you'' she said before leaving the stage. We all clapped for her before we also left.

----- Later that night----

It was time for the first elimination. All the trainees were to gathered once again by the stage to see who would get to continue their journey and who would have to leave.

Each company made their own entrance before taking a seat.

Both of them being individual, JaeHyun and JaeHwan made their entrance together. Trying to be funny, they rocked out to air guitars but them both got embarrassed and hurriedly left the stage while the other trainees laughed and clapped.

BoA entered the stage making everybody fall silent.

''Hello trainees'' she greeted them getting a bunch of hellos back.

'' 1 to 60 will survive while 61 and below will get eliminated'' she announced making everybody shocked that so many would get eliminated at once.

'WHAT! from 61 to 98! Isn't that to many'' JaeHyun worriedly whispered to DaeHwi, who nodded in agreement and held JaeHyun's hand in nervousness.

''Let's start'' BoA announced and the lights in the room started to dim.

-----Flashback: A couple days before-----

The trainees were all wearing their level shirts as they started to fill the room and sitting down on the benches.

The room had five big benches for each level with a big round stage in the middle.

'Huh.. what is this, do we have to fight?'' DongHyun asked making JaeHyun who was right behind him laugh a little.

GuanLin who also heared what Donghyun said, said '' Well if that's the case, I better not meet JaeHyun, that boy probably has a black belt in every martial arts sport ever invented!''

''That's true!!'' DaeHwi jokedly shouted from above them, where he was already seated with the other level A's.

When all the trainees were seated, music suddenly started to play making some trainees surprised. Trainee Kim TaeMin who sat across from JaeHyun almost jumped 2 feet in the air making JaeHyun smile at the older boy.

Season 1's pick me started to play making everyone confused but most of them started dancing.

Suddenly former ioi members Choi YooJung and Kim DoYeon appeared, making everybody but JaeHyun shout in excitement and suprise. JaeHyun were close friends with both of them so he knew they would appear. Honestly, JaeHyun and DoYeon had always been very close and DoYeon had confessed her feeling for him in the past and JaeHyun had almost accepted her but at the time he liked Somi more, but now when Somi is longer in the picture, JaeHyun seemed to look at her differently and DoYeon noticed and smiled for herself. Her feelings had never disappeared but she knew that he had just been heartbroken by a cheating Somi so she would give him a while before approaching him again.
