⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ THE TWO COUSINS laughed in union as they sat across from each other in the booth. Exactly this what consisted mostly of their past hours of being in each other presence– a good time filled with laughter and reminiscing. Today, they'd decided to grab a bite to eat for lunch since both had over slept past breakfast.

"Man, I remember when yo moma chased that girl butt ass naked out the house. Vicky was crazy like that, she hated when you brought them hoes home." Amos toned down his laughing and ended it with a shake of the head. He straightened his posture as he had slouched over from laughter "I don't know though, you were crazy about ole girl. What was her name? Yoyo or something?"

Kielce only side smiled instead of laughing along at the memory as he looked up at Amos, biting down on his straw ever so often. He then slurped the beverage through and swallowed. "Yup, that was her."

Shaking his head again, Amos scoffed briefly. "Uh uh uh, but I guess those day over huh since you gotta wifey and all now."

Kielce uncomfortably cleared his throat before taking a sip of his drink again, to quench the dryness. Amos didn't notice it though. Before he even could, Kielce switched over the subject. "We outta to go by big Mama's house. Y'know she still in N'York."

Amos looked up from finishing the last bites of his food—shoving two onion rings into his mouth, feeling a streak of guilt travel through his system alongside the food he'd swallowed. He'd nearly forgot about his, or their elderly great grandmother who live a state or two over. "Damn man. Yeah..yeah we should."

"You haven't been by there in a while huh?" Kielce read his younger cousin's body language and inquired. Sadly, Amos agreed and mentally beat himself up for the neglect. "Well let's get on out of here and head that way."

Kielce looked up towards the ceiling, past the dangling light as he reached into his back pocket for his wallet. The bill had been sitting on the edge of the table for a good twenty minutes, but they continued on with talking in the meantime. Just as he'd got it and was fixing to fish for the total amount, Amos dropped an entire $100 bill with a $20 as a tip— not that the waitress had did any better than any other.

Kielce looked at the money first before up at Amos, raising a brow as Amos wasn't even paying attention but instead stretching. Small popping sounds came from his back and arms as a low groan pushed through his lips. Still, Kielce sat there pondering over the money. Finally, Amos noticed his frozen stance and slapped him against the shoulder with the back of his hand. "What's up, Kie? You ready?"

Kielce blinked a couple of times, but just chuckled as he returned his wallet to his pocket. He stood from his seat and glanced at Amos. "I was going to pay, but I guess you big baller nowadays, huh?"
