Luke was always an adventurous person, unlike me. I have never really done anything too adventurous. When Luke decided that we should go hiking in the hills I thought that it sounded fun but I knew that we shouldn't stay out there for too long. At dark, the hills become dangerous, and I am not ready to be out there at night.
The hills were like small mountains. They were very steep and covered with trees and wildlife. There were a few hiking trails, but they were few and far in between.
Knowing Luke, he would not want to go on one of the main trails because he always loved exploring a new path. However, I didn't like this thought because it scared me.
People who went up into the hills have reported seeing things like abandoned buildings, large bears, and a guy who was mentally unstable. So, naturally I was unnerved at the thought at going too far into the hills. Some even say that the hills were haunted.
