Adopted

"Hey, Nerd!"

I heard some girls shout at me. I tried my hardest to ignore them.

"Nerd!"

They just kept on repeating the word nerd. I just kept on walking away from them. When I reached my room I slammed my door shut. I balled up on the corner of the bed and started to cry. Suddenly I heard a knock.

"Can I come in?"

I heard Susan, the owner of the orphanage.

"Uhh, yea hold on."

I quickly wiped the tears from my eyes and let her in.

"Go get ready, there is a man here to adopt you."

"Really!"

I said with excitement. I packed up all of my stuff and put on a pair of blue skinny jeans and my nirvana t-shirt. I ran down the stairs as fast as I could. I had stopped at the bottom with confusion.

"Here she is!"

Susan said with excitement.

"Honey this is the man who is adopting you."

"Tom Hiddleston?!?" "Why me?"

"I will explain later"

He said. I hugged Susan before I left. As I was walking out she yelled

"Don't forget to call me."

"I won't, don't worry."

"What is your name again darling?"

"Lexi, but you can call me Lex if you want."

We got into the car and started to drive.

"Do you still want to know why I chose to adopt you?"

"Yes Mr.Hiddleston I would like to know."

"You don't have to call me Mr. Hiddleston or Tom you can just call me dad." "Well I adopted you because you were on the waiting list for such a long time and Susan told me you were the nicest and a big fan."

"Oh, she really said that?"

"Yes, so I chose you."

"Thank you Mr.Hiddleston"

"I am your father now, no need to call me Mr. Hiddleston."

The car pulled into a drive way.
