Chapter 25

"What'd you mean 'I'm Home?'" Ron asked the invisible person.

"I'm Sirius Black!" He says excited but quietly and then ripped the cloak off. There was Sirius but who knew, it could be a imposter, it had to be, Sirius died in front of all of them.

"Who did I set you free on?" Harry asks, pointing his wand at Sirius's heart.

"A hippo griff! Buck Beak!" He said happily.

Harry lowered his wand and jumped to Sirius and hugged him. "I thought you died!!" Harry said, everyone could tell that he was crying.

"I'll explain once were inside."

Everyone shuffled into the messy house, watching Sirius's every move as though he is going to whip out his wand and kill them all.

The table was now occupied with every one, all eyes on Sirius.

"Okay, so, when I fell through the veil, I didn't really die. I was trapped, it was all dark. There where ghosts everywhere and I know it's sounds crazy but I saw George's ghost too..."

"That doesn't sound crazy! We all saw him too!" Bill said reassuringly and everyone nodded.

"Well, he was in that ghost world. When I was trapped there for the two years, it was awful. Almost as bad as Azkaban. The ghost try to get into your head." Sirius said, sounding absolutely crazy. He sat down into a chair and sighed. Everyone was still shocked and thought they were in a dream.

Harry had had many dreams about Sirius coming back to him, telling him it was all a joke, but no, it never happened and then Harry gave up and here we are.

"Sirius, what happened?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

"I found my way out! I walked out of the veil and went to find you all. So I heard you won the war?" Sirius said brightly.

"Yeah and uh Sirius... Lupin and Tonks didn't make it." Ginny said and Sirius's face fell.

"What??"

"So did Dumbledore and Mad Eye, and Snape."

"I knew about that, shame it really is, George told me..."

"Sirius, you're free you know."

"Yes, George also told me that too. Helpful lad he was.... So, what exactly happened with Fred?"

"He broke up with me and-and-" Hermione was crying and couldn't say anymore. Everyone explained to Sirius what had happened, Hermione just sat on the couch curled up.

"Hermione's pregnant, so am I." Ginny said, Sirius smiled.

"Congratulations...?" He said at the look on Hermione's face.

"One of the kids is Fred's and one is Ron's, I have twins but then Fred left me... Excuse me..." Hermione said, she ran upstairs and plopped down on the bed, soaking the white comforter with her salty tears. She just wanted Fred back, she wanted to be able to live happily with her family, have a wedding with Fred, watch her kids go to Hogwarts, go through teen troubles with them. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep, dreaming about her and Fred living happily ever after.

It was Christmas Eve and everyone's spirits were down, no one had heard a word from Fred.

Mrs. Weasley made a dinner of Turkey, rolls, salad, mashed potatoes, and corn. Sirius went out under the cloak because he was the only one who wasn't running from the Ministry but thought it would be a good idea to have the cloak in case.
