A month ago

Evie and I developed a text relationship since her breakup with Doug

Harry:Somebody with a blue heart and a ring texted you

I run out the bathroom with shampoo still in my hair and I grab my phone and text Evie

C:Heyyyy😂💙
E:Wanna meet up I have a free period
C:Sure just let me finish washing my hair
E:Cool meet me on the field
C:Cool see ya then

Harry:What did she say

Carlos:She wants to meet by the field

Harry:Maybe she wants to do a little kissing

I hear a laugh follow after Harry's sentence which was Jay's

Carlos:Guys C'mon she's not like the Evie we knew on the isle she isn't a heartbreaker anymore

Harry:I can tell you that for sure nobody who came from the isle is the same

Uma:Harry...

Harry:Yes?

Uma:I wanted to give this back I found it in my room

Uma hands Harry a framed picture of a letter and walks out my room

Harry:A poem I tried to recreate the poem Annabelle Lee and I kind of did

Jay:Oh my god your both totally whipped

Jay:I have sword practice with Chad

Jay:Yup I'm proud to call Lonnie my booboo

Jay leaves as Harry finishes braiding his hair

Carlos:I'm gonna finish washing my hair and I'm going change and head out

Harry:So I might as well get going

2 hours later

Carlos:Hey Evie I came as fast as I could

Evie:It's fine it's not like I had somewhere to go

I see Evie finish writing in her book and looks at me and I look away like I wasn't at all

mEvie:What's wrong

Carlos:Uh nothing

I sit on the bench below Evie and put my hoodie on

Carlos:43 15 seconds

Carlos:Number 43 stared at you for 15 seconds just now

Evie:Seriously what about 10

Carlos:I don't stare every time I do it'd under 5 seconds and I only start when you don't have all that makeup on when your looking your prettiest

I feel a pair on lips touch mine and I push her hair out the way and let her sit on my lap without parting our lips

Carlos:That is literally all I wanted

I wrap my arms around Evie's waist

Doug:HEY EVIE

Carlos:Seriously drama now

Evie:Carlos don't worry about him

Doug:What are you doing

Evie:First you falsely excuse me of cheating then you break up with me and now your upset that I moved on

I get up from slouching on the back on the bench and grab Evie's hand and walk away

Carlos:So he's not competition is he

Evie pecks my lips and tugs on my hoodie a bit

Evie:You don't have to worry about him

I wrap my arm around Evie's shoulder and continue walking and get stopped by Jane

Jane:Seriously this is what were doing

Carlos:Evie is my girlfriend now your seriously not my girlfriend anymore right

Evie smiles at me and kisses my cheek and plays with her fingers
