Chapter 27: I will never forget you

I immediately went inside to them to stop their fight

"Honoka! Umi! Stop it! Why are you two fighting anyway?"
"Oh you're back. How's Rin? Did you stop her dad to transfer her to a different school?" Umi asked

"Yeah, I managed to pull it off. Anyway why are you two fighting?"

"It's because Honoka isn't following her diet menu! Not to mention that I caught Honoka and Hanayo go to a fast food chain to eat instead of jogging" Umi complained

"Wait... It's not about me?"

"What do you mean about you?" Umi asked

"Nozomi said you two are fighting because of..."

I slowly stopped my sentence and looked at Nozomi laughing really loud outside of the room.

"Nozomi! What was that for?!"

"Hahaha. Sorry, my bad. It's just a joke don't worry" Nozomi said while laughing.

"That's a kind of joke I won't really forget I swear. Cause it's not funny"

"Well, from the look of things, Rin is really attached to you now." Nozomi replied

"I guess so. Since the whole trip, she's clinging to my arm and never let go... until now"

"Hehehe, Ren-senpai is really cool nya know? He even protected me from my father, not only that he convinced him not to transfer mr to a different school." Rin announced to them energetically

"Really? So that means you're staying with us?" Honoka took Rin's hands

"Of course nya!" Rin replied to Honoka, "But senpai, what did you talked about with my dad that made him change his mind?"

"Oh uhh... Its a bit complicated but I will do it like what he asked me for"

Like hell I will. Umi will get mad at me if they found out about it. I'm sure Rin will ask her dad once the camp is over so I should tell it to her later. For the mean time, where's that guy with 8th grade syndrome?

I searched all over the house but Kiba's not here. I went outside and found him in the backyard, he's wearing a huge black cape in his back and he's preparing a huge black curtain with a huge circle and a big star in the middle of it. Each sides of the star have candles on it and he placed eggs in the middle of the star.

"Hey Kiba what are you doing?"

"SHUT IT! I'm doing a ritual!" Kiba shouted

"Ritual of what? Summoning chickens?"

"No you imbecile! This is not a ritual for mere chickens! This is a ritual for the upcoming attack of the dragons in this place! I prepared these dragon eggs came from a far place for them!" Rin shouted with his arms spread wide

"What do you mean from a far place? These eggs just came from the fridge and you took them here!"

While arguing with Kiba, Kotori approached us.

"Guys what are you doing here? Kiba-kun, its really hot in here why are you wearing a huge cape?" Kotori asked while her pointing finger on her cheeks

"Oh uhh, its nothing don't worry Kotori. He's just stupid that he brought the eggs here and make fun of it"

"Kiba-kun that's not very nice. We should'nt make fun of these stuff. What if you get hurt? If you want to play, just ask us okay?" Kotori hold Kiba's hands and smiled back to him. Kiba's face went red and he can't reply to Kotori

After that, Kotori went back inside the house. Kiba stared at her while walking back inside and still blushing.

"Seems like someone had a little crush on the club's most cutest member?"

"Wh-wh-what are you talking about?! C-c-crush??? I have no idea what you're talking about!!!" Kiba replied

"*sigh* it's normal dude. I felt that too when I met Umi and spent time with her. Oh, by the way, clean your mess up, I'll cook dinner now."

I went to the kitchen to start working, but I found Nico and Maki inside. They're both arguing like usual while cooking

"Hey what's with the fight?"

"Its nothing. It's not like this tomato freak keep adding too many tomato sauce on the spaghetti I'm cooking!" Nico complained

"And like I told you this tastes better when you add many tomato sauce in it!" Maki replied angrily

"Then if you want your spaghetti like that then cook on your own! This is for everybody not just for you, you know?" Nico replied but her voice is much more louder than earlier

"Hmph! Fine then! Ren!" Maki called

"Y-Yes maam!"

"Help me to cook, I know that you're good at cooking so help me" Maki pointed her finger on me and looks at me like she's the boss. Well, she really is. She owns the house anyway

After all of that cooking and holding back to Maki's wrong instructions, we finally finished. I ended up having Nico's help to cook and prepare food for them all.

After dinner and washing the dishes, I went to the beach to take a walk while watching the waves of the water. Umi followed me and walked along.

"The moon is really pretty" Umi got amazed to the moonlight
"Yeah, it is."

It reminds me of the first time I confessed to her. I will never forget that day. We both feel the same way to each other and considered each others feelings. And we became couples and shared a kiss.

"Ren. While you were gone, Honoka told me about your feelings to her a few years ago." Umi suddenly started a topic. "And you promised her that you will regain your feelings for her now. If you did that, are you going to forget about me?"
"Umi, listen to me. Whatever happens, I will stay in your side. What's past is past. I will focus on the future along with you and everyone else."
"I'm happy to hear that." Umi smiled for a bit but it also disappeared for a few seconds. "But, do you still ove Honoka?"
"What makes you say that?"
"I know that Honoka is much more prettier and cuter than me. Its easy for her to return your feelings for her in just a little push. Unlike me, a strict and easy to get mad person, probably don't deserve a kind and a gentle person like you."
"And that's why I fell in love to you. Umi, no matter what happens, I will be yours. And remember this. You are the most beautiful, and the most cutest school idol that I fell in love with."

Umi smiled back to me and placed her head to my shoulder and used it as a pillow.

"Umi" Umi looked at me straight with her eyes brightening. We slowly moved our heads and kissed while holding our hands.

The next morning
Its the same regular training for the club members to strengthen their stamina. I received a call from the director. I answered it and the Director said to me that the open house will be cancelled if there are no one is interested to go.

What? Seriously? We have to do something!!!
