I promised Maki I will help her convince her parents to let her stay on the club. But it also makes me think if what she's saying is true or not. My mind is getting blank out of nervousness and fear covers my entire body. Why wouldn't I? We're talking about a big time family who runs a famous hospital branch around Japan. And here I am, a nobody, asked to pretend to be the boyfriend of their only daughter.  I'm now in the front of her house once again, nervously rang the doorbell to call her out

"M-Maki. I'm h-here"

Just a few seconds, Maki came out and let me in and her parents welcomed me as we enter the living room. She clinged herself on my arm acting like we're actual lovers in front of her parents. We sat on their huge sofa while their family servants serves us tea. They started bombarding us questions.

"So, how long you two have been dating?" Her mother asked

"O-one month after we met first time in school"

"One month? Oh my that's pretty fast. I'm actually impressed that you made it though her types" Her mother smiled

"Why?"

"Mom stop it. Don't listen to them Ren-kun!" Maki panicked and held my shoulder with an embarrassed look

Maki looked a bit red from embarrassment

"Anyway, lets get back to the main topic shall we? I heard that you and your friends asked my daughter to join your school idol club and joined Love Live. But you all failed because of an accident. I know that because it was your friend Ms. Honoka Kousaka got an injury to her left foot and I'm the one who consulted her by Maki's request" Her Dad seriously explained

"I'm really sorry for what happened sir..."

"You don't have to worry about it. But what worries me the most is my daughter Maki. She's getting way too absorbed with this idol stuff and I'm afraid I'll have her transfer a different school to get her focus out of it."

"Wait a minute Dad! I've never heard about this!" Maki got surprised

"Wait sir, isn't that way too much?"

"I'm afraid its been decided" Her Dad stood up and went upstairs back to his room

The room is all filled with silence after what just happened. Maki's mom left us two alone in the living room. I can tell that she's trying to say that I should comfort her. Maki fell so silent that she just kept her head down

"Maki" I tried to pat her back but she's not responding

She started sobbing and tears started to flow down

"Maki, its not yet over. You know me right? I'll find a way to convince your dad"

She looked at me with her teary eyes. She just couldn't hold it in and cried in my arms. Out of her overflowing sadness, I patted her head and tried to calm her down

"Its not yet over, I promise. I'll convince him and you'll get back on the club in no time"

Her cry made me realize she's not only doing this to get her transfer to a different school. I can feel that she never want to leave the club not because of she already made friends with all of them, but she also found her place where she can test her skills and her strength in her life

After a few minutes, she finally calmed down. We both decided that I'll pursue her dad alone and convince him

I went outside the living room and found her mom standing near the stairs.

"Ren, is it? Thank you for comforting her " Her mom smiled at me

"I didn't do that much to be honest"

"Are you still planning to convince him I suppose?" She asked

"Its for Maki's sake, I won't give up because being an idol is something that she want"

"You really resembles him that much huh?" She bluntly asked

"What do you mean?"

"Well you see, Maki once got a friend back when she's still young. He always sneaks inside in the house just to play with her. When that child one day stopped going here to play with her, she always gets sad and refuses to talk with other boys she sees. She must've suffered a lot when that kid didn't appear until now" She explained

The story reminds me of my loss once when Honoka and I got seperated.

"Don't worry ma'am, I'll make sure I'll convince her dad not to transfer and everything will be alright"

"I'll look forward to it. My husband's room is on the second floor at the end of the hall" She giggled and went outside

Without any sense of doubts, I went straight to her dad's room. I knocked and his dad opened up. He lets me in to his room and went back to his seat

"Sir, about the conversation earlier"

"I thought I made it clear to you that its now all decided?" He asked

"But its all wrong. You went out deciding stuff without her saying against it"

"Believe me or not, its for her future. I want her to focus on her studies to become a professional doctor and be the heir of our family business" He replied

"But you haven't heard about her side yet. She never said that she won't pursue her future of becoming a doctor. She joined us because she finds joy of becoming a school idol and she can prove her talent of playing piano and compose songs"

"Still doesn't change the fact that she's getting distracted from it. She needs to snap out of it and focus on what's on her future" He complained with an angry tone

"Sir, you should know that when I first saw Maki, she was at the music room playing piano. And that made me realize her talent is overwhelming and I think she's also doing this because she wants to and not because she was forced to do it."

"Then prove it to me. If what you're saying is true, then I want to see your whole group perform. I'll give you a week to prove yourselves. If not, you know what will happen. " He gave me a serious look as I went outside the room

**********

I went back to Maki as she waits at the living room.

"So how is it?" Maki asked

"Sorry Maki, but I think we'll have to include them here"

"What do you mean?" She asked

"We need µ's to convince him"
