The Land Of Purple Sky

35 16 17

In the land of purple sky,
Where the mighty eagles fly,
And the mountain lions creep,
And the time is standing by.

In my dream I venture there,
Up the mountain top I dare,
Rise above the violet world,
Into the sun's eyes I glare.

At the dome I seize a pine,
On the very peak I dine ,
Fabricate a roomy mansion,
Catch a nimbus raining wine.

Then I fall,
Dive into the waterfall,
Hasty moment gone awry,
In a human life too small.

When I wake alone I cry,
For the land of purple sky.
