To Be Yours

To be yours

I sail ~~~

Seven raging seas

Yearning for

A sanctuary

Within your eyes

Where I reside

Peel off my pride

Be whole, or be

Nothing at all

For your love

I surrender ~~~

The depth of me

Build a boat

Out of my viscera

lay open the core

Of my vertebra

Let my marrow

Drink up your brine

Burn my soul

With its blaze

Wreck my ship

Upon your gaze

As I drown~~~

In the deep blue

I breathe ~~~

Inhale your waves

Into my lungs

Cripple my arms

Fight for dear life

Dive into

The tempest

of your tears

While I die~~~

I hold on to

Your lifeline

I wish For

Another try

A final touch

Of your hands

Of your face

Of your lips

I climb up

A steep hill

Down I slip

I retry~~~

I stand still

Shivering

Inside my bones

Until I see

The first dawn

Of your smile

And I am...

Once again...

Alive...
