Personality; Nick likes to do things his way. He is pretty stubborn and will stick to how he wants to do something. Despite being stubborn and a bit carefree, he has the best intentions at heart. Nick is very kind. He and his family lived just outside Ecruteak city. When he was 10, Nick was given a special Pokémon by his mother, an eevee. The eevee was very shy at first but gradually opened up as they explored the region. He named her Amber because of her amber colored eyes. After venturing halfway through Kanto, Amber chose to evolve into a flareon to beat a trainer making fun of Nick. Towards the end of their Kanto adventure, they found a houndour that was cast out because of being "too friendly and not intimidating enough". Nick offered for the houndor to travel with them and, once caught, was given the name "Nibbles" because of how much he liked to nibble on Nick's shoes. They went to Hoenn next and were relentlessly attacked by an angry Carvahna outside Sootopolis city. The carvahna accidentally opened a Great Ball that fell into the water and was captured. Houndour evolved soon after that in a battle against Wallace while Carvaha evolved in Sharpedo going up against an Ace Trainer.
