JACK's P.O.V
My mom carries my  bag to the car and we finally leave LA.
This weekend, I'm going to surprise Finn and Jaeden; I'm going to NYC!
On the road, I call Jaeden
- Hey
- Hey Jack! What ya doin?
- Just on the car
- Oh. Where are you going?
- NYC
- NYC?
- Surprise
- Jack! That's awesome!
- I know! I wanted to surprise Finn
- Ouch
- And you, of course
He laughs a little
- So? Where's Finn?
- I don't know. He's not answering. Have you seen him lately?
- Not actually, no.
- Why?
- No reason. We're both busy
- YOU busy?
- Ha, Ha. You're so funny
- I know I am
- So. Where shall we meet?
- Home?
- We're in NYC, I was thinking about something more funny
- My house is really funny.
- C'mon Jaeden!
- Ugh. Where do you wanna go?
- I don't know! You're the one who lives here
- We can order something in Starbucks and have it on the Central Park.
- Cool. Okay. I'll meet you in 2 hours.
- Where?
- Central Park?
- Central Park is super big, Jack
- Yeah. True.
- Nearest Starbucks?
- Okay
- Tell Finn
- Of course I will
- Thank you J
- No problem, J
I smile and close my eyes. I should sleep a little. At least an hour... I couldn't get to sleep much yesterday due to packing and preparing al the stuff for Finn and I today.
I just want today to be perfect
As soon as I get to the Starbucks, I immediately look around, trying to find Finn- and Jaeden, of course-.
Jaeden is waving at me on a dark corner
- What are you doing here?
- Just waiting for you
- Where's Finn?
- I think you should call him
- Why?
- He told me he's not coming
- What?
- Yeah. He's rehearsing with his band
- Ugh. This can't be happening. Let's get our drinks and go to Central Park. I'll talk to him later
- Are you sure?
- Yeah. Whatever...
We spend some time together and catch up. Later, he goes home to practice the script for a new role he's trying to get, and I call Finn, but he doesn't answer.
I try again and after 2 missed calls, he replies
- Hey!
- Finally...
- What's up?
- Where are you?
- I'm working with Calpurnia
- Yeah? Well... I'm on NYC
- You are?
- Yes. Wanna go out?
- Sorry love. I can't now. I'm really, really busy. But I'll call you when we finish
- Okay
- Is that okay?
- Yeah... sure
- Thank you. Sorry I can't leave yet
- It's okay. Job's first. Right?
- Right...
I bite my lip and close my eyes. I was hoping that he said job's not first, even though he knows it's not true.
Things are starting to get complicated with Finn and I really don't like it. I don't wanna break up with him... I can't break up with him. I just can't.
I walk straight back to my hotel and take the elevator to room 316
- I think we should leave...
- Already?- asks a male voice. I didn't even take five second to recognize his voice, a little deeper than the last time I saw him
I run to the kitchen to find Finn, smiling at me. I hug him and he kisses me on the lips
- What are you doing here?- I whisper
- Job's first? Really?
I shock my head 'no' as he bites his lip
- Damn. I missed you
- I missed you too

FINN's P.O.V
Finally, we sit down
- Who let you in?
- The receptionist
- How?
- I'm Finn Wolfhard. I told him I was gonna meet a friend in room 316 and he just let me in.
- Who gave you my room number?
- I did- Angela, Jack's mum, gets out of her bedroom.- He called me, freaking out because he screwed up with you
- Oh.
- I actually said fucked up- I whisper
He laughs
- I think we should arrange some dates to meet. First date in LA, second date in NYC.- I suggest
- Are you sure we should have it so prepared?
- Of course. We're actors. We have busy lives. But if we know when we're actually gonna meet, then we can save that day just to meet each other
- That's so nice
- Thank you- I smile at him and we arrange the dates in both our phones
- So? Did you like the trailer?- he asks
- It Trailer? Yeah! It was awesome!
- Fans are already freaking out with my arm
- Fans are so cool. They're just so smart. With only a trailer they try to guess everything that happens on a movie. I love them
- I know right!?
After a few hours together, Jack leaves.

JACK's P.O.V.
As I come back to LA, my manager arranges me a date with Ellie.
- Mum, why are you letting him do this?
- What do you mean?
- I don't wanna see Ellie. I'm with Finn, and we're not ready to make it public yet, but we will someday and I don't wanna be "dating" Ellie by the time that happens
- Just a little longer, son
- What?
- When you get more famous you can stop going out with her
- But as famous as I get, the harder it gets to tell everybody you've been lying
- If you really love Finn, you'll find a way.

I get home and call a few friends to come visit me.
When they arrive to my house, they go to my room
Luke, one of my best friends from school, looks at me
- Can we make a SLEEPOVER today?
- Not really
- Why?
- I'm going to see Ellie tonight
- Ugh. What is she? Your girlfriend?
- Actually... yeah. We're kinda going out.
- That sucks- Maddie screams
- What?
- I don't like that Ellie. She seems so fake
- Fake?
- Yeah. That's true.- Luke nods
- I was really hoping Fack get to be a thing
- What? You ship Fsck too?- I ask
- Everyone ships Fack, dude.- Luke smiles
- Really?
- Yeah... it's one of the most famous ships right now. Everyone supports it. Even though so people don't admit it.
- So you're going out with this... snake?- Luke asks
- Hey. Don't be rude
Even though I didn't actually wanted to defend her, I kinda have to. I mean... she's my "girlfriend"
- Yeah. We're going out, and you'll have to respect it
- Whatever, Jack. We warned you about her
- You don't know her
- We don't have to know her to know she just wants followers
- Oh, shut up.
