As I hear her screaming his name, I start running to the last place where I saw him. He was pretty far away, so it may take me a while to get there

I hurry and try to run faster.
I know for fact that people gives a shit about other people. The second the big ball gets to zero, all my chances to find Wy immediately vanishes.

- PLEASE! HOLD ON!- I scream, as he was right in front of me
I step on something and roll right into the floor.
I close my eyes but open them when I hear the words I was so afraid of
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
I get on my feet and, as the fireworks start being lunched at the sky, I start running again, and finally get to Wyatt, who's on the floor, unconscious
- What happened?
- I...- the girl starts
I grab her by her jacket and scream at her

I look at him again, to find cuts all over his wrists, and a lot of blood around them.
I sit by his side, crying.
- I'm so sorry...
I hold him in my arms, and realize he's cold. Really cold.
Wyatt was dead, and the last thing he heard from my mouth was we had never been best friends and I was stupid to believe we were.

JAEDEN's P.O.V.
I wake up, crying.
Lilia is holding my hand
- Are you okay? You fell asleep and I didn't wanted to wake you up
- Oh, I'm okay
- You're crying
- No. It's just the "I'm tired" tears.
- Oh, okay... we have a long trip so if you wanna sleep again...
- No. Let's have fun
We take some selfies together and flirt a little, but we keep our promises and don't kiss
Jack is sitting on his boyfriend's lap and Finn is  hugging him by his wrist
- Does any of you know if Wyatt is coming?- I ask
Jack and Finn deny
- Okay...
- Relax- Jack whispers in my ear
I can't fucking relax, Jack! I don't even know if I'm gonna have to see Wyatt tonight. How am I supposed to stay calmed?
I should though, I don't wanna ruin everything with Lilia, and if I'm too nervous for Wyatt, she'll know something's wrong
I finally nod to Jack and focus on Lilia
- So when did you guys met?- Maddie's boyfriend asks
- On the Book of Henry premiere- I reply
- I actually knew him already- Lilia nods
- You did?- I ask confused
- Yeah. Once, on set, I went to pick Maddie up and I saw you. That's why I was so nervous when we talked at the premiere. I knew you already, and I kinda liked you. Like a crush though. I didn't start liking you until we start being friends

Saying something to Lilia before falling for Wyatt would have been way easier... now all this wouldn't be happening, I wouldn't be so confused about my sexual orientation and Lilia and I would be really happy together. Or not.
Maybe I would've fallen for Wyatt anyway.
Even though everyone can think I have already made a decision, I didn't. Yeah, maybe I'm with her now, and I may have screwed everything up with Wy, but I'll fix it if it's necessary.

Jack and Finn, and Jack and Maddie get out of Maddie's mum's van and we all walk in

WYATT's P.O.V.
When we get to The Hamptons, for some reason, I immediately feel like I shouldn't have come. I totally miss grandma's house now.
- Shall we?- Sophia asks

- What? C'mon! Chosen's waiting for us to get in
- You go. I'll catch you two up in a sec
- Are you sure?

I look down and start picturing Jaeden with Lilia. Holding hands, whispering things to each other and kissing at midnight.
Suddenly, I see Jaeden, walking to me. I frown and he grabs me by my shirt

A girl walks to us and hugs Jaeden
- You must be Lilia- I fake a smile and she nods.

I fake a smile again and go in, just to get away from them
